I read this book 5 years ago and it is a wonderful source of inspiration and direction. Just this month, I started a group study of it and everyone loves this powerful book for women. Stormie is an author who writes for others and uses her own experiences to enhance it. Very enlightening. I highly recommend it.Elaine

This is the first Omartian book I have read, and I love it. The breakdown is short easy chapters, so I can read a few minutes and still cover a topic. Great advise and insights are on every page. I also plan to use it as a reference/refresher when I need advice.

I cannot recommend this book enough. I have had it for two years and I'm STILL reading it and praying the prayers almost every week! Stormie's story is so inspiring and will bring hope to anyone in any situation. I have so much respect for her and her writing because of the suffering she went through in the first part of her life (before she knew God). This book has been life-changing for me and I whole-heartedly encourage you to read it!

This is an excellent book. It was recommended to me by a friend and worth every penny. Extremely motivating. I have two other books in the series that I enjoy just as much.

This book was/is a huge tool for me, it teaches me how to speak to God and how to pray like I ought to. I would recommend it to anyone who is just barely walking with the Lord and wants to get to know Him better.

I got the audiobook from the library, and after I returned it I missed it so much that I went out and bought the book. I carry it in my purse so that I have it if I need it. It is a wonderful book to read in any time, weather you are already prayerful and feeling close to God, or when you feel like you are falling away from God and you don't know how to find him. I recomend this book to any woman!

The enemy was trying to convict me and take my new found joy away. I omitted going to my weekly bible study; I had just purchased "The Power of a Praying Women" and the spirit had another agenda for me that night. I got home, ran a tub of hot water and started reading "The Power of a Praying Woman". I didn't stop until I finished the book. Each chapter touched on a test I was being confronted with. Now I am using this book as a devotional. It gets me through rough and tough times. Even if there are no test, trials and tribulations in your life right now, I highly recommend the reading. It will keep you uplifted so when the storms do come, you will have a life preserver. If not for you, you will be ready to help somebody else.

This book is so nicely written, and is a blessing to have..It is hard to put it down..Very much worth purchasinh..

I love this book!! I owned Power of the Prayeing wife first and I felt I needed to up the ante and bought this book. It has brought me even closer to God and has transformed me in ways I never thought possible. Prayer is truly a wonderful act that can transform any person's life. A Must Read!!!

5 Stars...did you hear me? * * * * * Stars! I LOVED this book. I've read the Power of a Praying Wife before this and was expecting this book to be very similar. Now don't get me wrong, the Power of a Praying Wife is also a very good book, but this book, this book breaks the mold. It's so much more.

Stormie Omartian goes to the heart of the woman's soul and speaks to the very things that I think women all struggle with. This is probably the best supplemental book to the Bible that I have ever read.

I really don't know how else to praise this book. Get it! Get it! Get it! And then read it and read it again. I took this book slowly. My goal was to read this book one chapter per week in order to allow myself time to really soak up the information. My personal experience in doing it this way was that the exact thing I was struggling with and needed to read happened to come up in the exact week that I needed it. I can't say anything more about it. This book has transformed my prayer life. Seriously, check it out.
