This is a great eyeopener on what you can do for yourself & your family.Aboveall Stormie gives you a great insight on what you can do in your on life..I would recommend this to any woman.Its a great gift....i can safely say this coz i got mine as one.Like her other books she shows us where we can make prayer filled changes in our every day life!To top it all its fully scriptural!..I love that .It just fills you with the WORD of GOD.I have found encouragement & a clearer insight in many areas to help me in my spiritual walk, after reading this book.Its definetely not a one time reading,& so ,you should have your own copy.

Valuable accompaniment to The Power of a Praying Woman. I used it for my women's Bible study group to help us focus our thoughts on prayer and what we were learning from the book. It asks probing questions to help sort out what we actually believe and see if this lines up with the Scriptures.

When I first ordered the book,"The Power of a Praying Woman and Study Guide." when I received it I realized that I also needed the actual book. I was eagered to start reading the book so I ordered it right away. To my surprise, I received it within a week. I was glad that I ordered the wrong book first. Otherwise, I would not have ordered the study guide. It is very beneficial with the book.(I received both books within a week after ordering them.) I recommend these books to anyone woman who desires to increase their prayer life and a closer relationship with God through studying the Word of God. Reading the book and answering the questions in the study guide after each chapter by backing it up with the word of God is really inspirational and gives you a better understanding of His Word and yourself.

This is the first Stormie Omartian book that I read. It is such an amazing book. It really put things in a new light for me and helped me to learn to pray. Prayer was something that I had really struggled with so this book really started a life change for me. If you need help with prayer or if you just need to be uplifted then I suggest this book for you!

This book is so good that I've worn it down from reading it like a reference book. RIght now I am leading a womens group on this book and it is so empowering and uplifting. This author knows how to make learning how to pray exciting. She uses her life experiences to enhance most chapters. She has skillfully put together a book that is a must for Christian woman no matter where they are on their journey.

Bought this one on accident - was trying to buy the actual book (not the study guide). But still enjoy this and would buy (and have bought) for a friend

This is for a bible study a small ladies is doing at church. We are bonding because of this book and changing my life as well. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spiritual experience.

The video series really follws the book pretty much word for word, so if you've read the book it's a good reveiw. The workbook that goes with the series takes your class further into the word revealing support for each topic. A worthy investment.

Stormie Omartian has yet to write a book that does not encourage & inspire in life altering ways!

The book is wonderful. It is actually a study guide that you use with your Bible. I am finding alot of great things that I am eager to share with others.
