Stormie O'Martian's "The Power of Praying For Your Adult Children" is packed with several wonderful ideas on how to pray for your grown kids. She gives appropriate verses of scripture to pray for each topic she showcases. Also included are prayers to pray or get you started in praying for your sons and daughters. This book is unlike her other books ("The Power of a Praying Wife" and "The Power of a Praying Husband") in that it doesn't highlight a different topic of prayer for each day of the month.

Still, this is a valuable resource to help you pray for your adult children - especially if you have a difficult time seeing your children as adults. I recommend this book to every parent who wants to get in the daily habit or needs a few ideas of how to pray appropriately for their adult kids.

This book gave me terrific insite and support with my adult children. Knowing that praying for them is the best thing we can do, can give us peace. I knew this all along, but Stormie's added input gave great strength. Their choices are THEIR choices, our response is our responsibility. We can support them more with prayer than anything else! I highly recommend this book and have already shared with friends going through similar situations.

I recommend highly this book for those parents whose adults children are needing guidance from The Lord, as we pray this book my husband and I are reaping what we are sewing. OUR God is always watching over those who search him with all their hearts. As parents do not give up, God knows we are called to be praying parents to ask the Holy Spirit to touch the hearts of God's children.

This is an excellent resource for parents of adult children. Our children never get too old for us to pray for them, but sometimes it is hard to know the right words. Here's Help!

This book came highly recommended by a friend. It is very inspiring, helpful and encouraging if you are concerned about the spiritual growth of your adult children. I am finding it very useful and it helps give me something better to do with my concerns instead of worrying about them!

What a wonderful resource, full of comfort, hope and a lot of prayer. Prayer is always heard and answered. This book helps articulate our prayers about our adult children in a beautiful, meaningful, specific and powerful way.

So far this is a really good book. Just the little I have read have helped me give my adult son and daughter back over to God. I have really been stressing over my son lately. I have read quite a few of Stormie's books and they are really good. I love the way she stick with the Word. You can tell she's a powerful-praying lady.

AWESOME!! Our children are never too old to not need prayer! And Stormie covers all aspects of their needs and lives! A book you'll definitely use daily!

This is the book all of us with adult children should read (and use). Many of us can identify with Stormie's examples with children in their 20s, 30s, 40s and even beyond. Each chapter lays out something for us as parents to do and at the end she has a prayer on that action where we place our children's names in the prayer. What peace it brings, even when we are to wait upon Him. I bought five copies as gifts for friends after I read it. PTL for Christian authors.
