This is a small booklet, roughly 10.5cm x 18cm [4.3 inches x 7.1 inches]. I've had a copy of Derek Prince's scriptural proclamations for decades now. This particular edition is just one of the newest publications. The first paragraph in my edition says "Tremendous power is released through proclaiming the Word of God. Many Christians are not aware of this amazing potential that is available to them. The Word of God has powerful relevance in all situations, from personal needs to international crises. No matter what we are facing, as we learn how to proclaim the Word of God into those circumstances, God's creative, transforming power is released. Every believer has both the privilege and the responsibility to proclaim God's Word."

The Proclamations which are simply scripture personalised, are tremendously empowering for your own life and in praying for others. This book and the proclamations I've learned from it [and in making my own from scripture], have been a foundation builder and confidence in Christ builder in my life. Once you understand how to use Scripture, or the Word of God as a declaration and stand your ground with it as your spiritual sword or weapon, you are able to stand confidently when trouble comes.

Derek begins by giving clear and easy to understand teaching on the Word of God, what it means to proclaim, how God taught Moses to use the Rod, exercising authority using God's Word [NOT a name-it-and-claim-it style!], protection through proclamation, proclamation in National and International affairs and practical application, etc.

Following from there, the rest of the book is divided into chapters of various subjects like Righteousness and Holiness, health and strength, guidance, protection and preservation, testing and trials, serving God amongst others. In these chapters, chunks of scripture are taken and personalised for proclamation.

The final gem in the crown are the compilations of scripture that Derek has compiled for us to use to proclaim "The Exchange Made at the Cross", "Nothing but the Blood" and "Declaration of Confidence in God's Protection". All scriptures used in these compilations are listed for you to look up to make sure you know why his proclamations state what they state. Everything is backed by God's Word.

This book is a tremendous asset to any praying person, but to the new Christian and the seasoned, the principles of proclaiming the Word of God are necessary, and this book provides you with not only the 'why' of proclaiming, but the 'how', and gives it to you in an easy to carry booklet. I carry a soft cover version in my handbag, and any time I have to wait for an appointment, or if I'm travelling on public transport etc., I have a ready source of food for my spirit and soul at hand. It often happens that I can proclaim under my breath for those around me as God leads.

Buy two copies - one for yourself and one to give to someone else. Don't give your own copy away - you'll need it!
