It's been only a week or two since my son (G1) received this set, but I already lost track of how many times he read them.

Yes, some of the words in these books are difficult for the beginning readers. But it's also very good practice because they will try to read unfamiliar words using various phonic rules.

My son was VERY motivated and eager to read "Big Boy Books". I worried because my son wasn't reading many books. But now that I realize he'll want to read more and more, as long as we give the books that he likes!!

My kids are 6 and 4 yrs old. My older son is a good reader but the vocabulary used in these books is really for older kids. I have to tell him the meanings for all the words and sometimes they are even difficult to read.

I bought these books after reading the reviews but they are not really for the beginning readers. My younger son enjoys these when I read them to him. He does not even want to try to read them.

My dear son is a Power Rangers fanatic...this was great low cost and includes stories from all the rangers. Its in a nice carrying case. As you may know there several different Rangers groups. It is definetly worth it.

Grandsons, ages 5, 6, and 7, were pleased with this book. They are in various stages of learning to read and these books are great inspiration.

I actually bought 4 boxes of this set to use as party favors at my son's 5 birthday party. He wanted a Power Ranger theme. I actually hate receiving little do-dads as party favors, and in turn, I hate giving them. Seems like kids end up with so many little tops, whistles, plastic rings, etc. This was a great way to give the kids each a nice gift that won't end up in the trash as soon as they get home. $10 for 6 books seems more than reasonable. I couldn't find these books anywhere, so I'm almost certain none of the kids already had them.

These books are perfect for that Power Rangers fan. Although my son is only 2, he enjoys looking at the colorful pictures and showing me each one of the power rangers and telling me their colors. There are six books to choose from and each one is as good as the next. I would not recommend these to children who are much younger than 3. They are paper back and the pages are paper which would tear easily. If you have a Power Ranger book lover, this would be a great addition to any collection.

3 stars for my son enjoys this collection, only. Unfortunately I'm not so happy about the quality of the paper and the colors, which are faded and very cheap quality of printing, as well as the paper (newspaper quality). Also some of the pages are already coming off. For the quality of the material, it is a very expensive choice. I would not recommend it.

The books are light-weight and they have beautiful/colorful pictures of power rangers. The carrying case is cool and my nephew loves it. I'm so glad I ordered these books; their worth the price and the smile on my nephews face.

My 6-year old nephew is a huge fan of the Power Rangers since I can remember. For each birthday or Christmas I would get him Power Ranger action figure or related toy. This year, I was very happy to find the Power Ranger books in a travelling case so I bought it immediately. The six books are thin and simple, but has enough words for a child his age. On Christmas Day at the family gathering, my nephew ran to each room of the house looking for me to thank me for his gift that he likes so much.

He loves anything Power Rangers - I searched all over for Power Ranger books in the stores and couldn't find anything. This set is a great deal!
