This review is from: Power Ranger Mighty Morphin Green Ranger (Toy)
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are going strong with this line and I'm really loving how this new Bandai team did this set. Smaller (4") but very good toys nonetheless. I already reviewed Jason so most of what I say about Tommy the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger will be about the same. The ever popular Tommy comes with his signature weapon the Dragon Dagger. He also features the new Dino Glider which connects as either a set of wings or as a hoverboard. He's very posable with about 15 points of articulation and very detailed. As with all the new Rangers he isn't flat or super bulky; just pleasantly in between. The Dragon Armor Tommy wears doesn't come off but it makes for a more show accurate and detailed Green Ranger. The gloves and boots especially are painted exactly the way it was in the series unlike the '93 toys. Add to that he has a gold morpher not a silver one like the others and as with Jason's Power Sword, Tommy's Dragon Dagger has a molded in Dragon Power Coin in the hilt. Yeah, the weapons could have been painted for bonus points and holster peg for the Dagger would be handy, but these are minor issues. Overall, if you're a parent, you can safely get this for older kids since the weapons may be a bit small. If you're an old time fan like me, definitely add this to your collection. Crazy detail in a smaller than usual size and at a good price too. Retail is $7 so if you see him at this price I would recommend buying Tommy and the other Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for your family or collection.

I HAD THIS,
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
Let me just say first off, when I had this it was great. I must have been somewhere between 5-8 years old at the time but the Green Ranger was my favorite. BUT let me tell you what happened.I was playing like any normal kid would, and in my storytelling fantasy play, I decided to kill off the green ranger, as I had just gotten the White Ranger, which as we know is played by the same character. SO what did I do after I "killed" him off. I threw him in the garbage and that was the end of him. To this day I regret it as nothing was wrong with him. Well what can you do. This is a great toy and I loved how you could switch between the face and mask/helmet. If you get if for your kid, just make sure he doesn't throw it out after you get him the white ranger. lol

This review is from: Power Ranger Mighty Morphin Green Ranger (Toy)
This is a sweet, multi-jointed representation of everyone's favourite Power Rangers. Cause let's face it, no matter how many incarnations have come, no matter how good or bad the show got; it all started with the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and everyone's favourite bad-boy turned good, Tommy. This toy looks perfect, and it even comes with the Dragon knife Tommy used to summon and control the Dragon Zord. My only "complaint" is that the weapon came moulded in black instead of silver and green like in the show; but a little hobby-paint and it will look superb! These figures also came with an inexplicable bird-backpack that lights up and has pieces that can attach to the Ranger as extra armour. A nice add-on for the toy, but completely useless to nostalgia freaks like myself...although when using the backpack as a stand-up base the toy is much more sturdy and can hold some wicked poses! Not very educational, but it is anatomically correct so you can learn a bit about the body and how it moves I guess...
