This review is from: Power Ranger Mighty Morphin Dino Megazord (Toy)
Alrighty so it's almost 2010 and I'm happy to say that it's Morphin Time again for Bandai! Now I already own the original 1993 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Megazord (bought back in the day) so as a long time fan I had no problem in purchasing the 2009 version at Target for $[...]. But let's review shall we?Now this Megazord, the original Mighty Morphin Dino Megazord, is a pretty solid toy by itself. Like most megazords it is made up of 5 individual zords that combine into one big one. Each of the zords are pretty well built. Tyrannosaurus' legs are a little clicky but that's for stability I suppose. I was worried about Tank Mode when I saw the new knee connections for the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord but it forms it perfectly. Compared to the original the Megazord is more streamlined and less bulky but the zords are smaller. Though they have fewer stickers than the original, the ones provided are very show accurate. Another plus is that despite being about shoulder-high to the original, Bandai made its legs longer so it looks more proportioned. It's even more in scale with the 1993 DragonZord! No chrome or moving wheels but that's kind of a minor point. Another retool is that it makes use of the new Vehicle Zord System. The arms and legs can be interchanged with the Dino Cycles and Zord Vehicles opening up several new modes. Look forward to how the DragonZord will utilize this system when it releases. So overall it's a solid toy and fun even without the other vehicles. The Pterodactyl's legs are a bit small though so you may want to keep this for older kids. But if you've never owned the original Megazord this might be a good choice at a good price.

Thanks for Amazon & ToyWiz. U know what? I never had a chance to get this Dino Megazord since the first release on 1993... Although I already collect most of Power Rangers Toys, but this Dino Megazord is truly awesome, and bring back to our past time...Maybe it's a litte bit smaller than the old one, but it still worth to become my collection.....

I got this for a birthday present, and I am glad to have done so. Easy to morph from dino to megazord and back. With the vehicle zord system which I was able to pull off (Green and Black dino cycles with the yellow and blue zord vehicles respectively.) I kinda felt like frankenstein, subbing the mammoth arms and triceratop and tiger legs for the cycles as the legs and the zord vehicles for the arms. You will too if you get the right parts.
