My son, 4 years old, loves this game. It is very easy for him to play. A power ranger tells you what your objectives are and basically leads you to them. I don't believe this is a game for 7 year olds and up. It's to easy. My son loves being one of the dino thunder characters and is able to shoot enemies without any violence (i.e. blood gore, adult language, etc.)

My 10 year old finished this game in under six hours (including many of the bonus levels). That's 6 hours.
Visually OK, the graphics are nothing special and glitchy in one or two places. Thst said, the kids (5+10) certainly enjoyed it but I'd suggest anyone with children older than 8 get something else. Children love to finish games off but I don't think it indicates good value for money.

As a seventeen year old girl one wouldn't expect me to love a game designed for boys but I really did. I won't say it was extremely challenging, as it was designed for little kids, but it was very fun for a hardcore Power Ranger fan like myself. The voices were some what annoying. I was able to get over the voices for Conner and Ethan but Kira was far to valley girl and Tommy's voice was terrible. I'd recommend this game for any PR fan or anyone just looking for a nice little game.

This is a very easy game and kids under 6 will learn a lot about control and following instructions but that is it. It is a good game for kids under 6 to learn the basics of how to control characters, etc but nothing beyond that. So as a starter game - buy it. For someone who knows games well- pass on it.

It is a good product, that I purchased for my son who is just a fanatic about the series--big collector of their items.. A welcome addition to his games.

I read the previous reviews, but decided to make the purchase since it was the only Power Rangers game for Gamecube, and my son has taken a liking to Power Rangers as of late.
Game over. Already. It's quick, it's easy and not very challenging. I believe this is definitely a game for the youngest set of gamers (my son just turned 8). I agree with another reviewer - there is no blood and as far as I can tell, you don't "die"; in one level there's a time limit and if you don't complete it, the volcano is supposed to blow, but it gave me extra time when I didn't finish quickly, and I wasn't penalized or blown up. Graphics are okay and you can begin play without referring to the manual. Some of the verbal directions or comments can get annoying (They tell you to be careful not to hurt anyone, which is overall a positive thing, since the game isn't about total destruction and annihilation, but when you're just starting to learn some of the zords (sp?), you might have a few problems avoiding stepping on buildings or roads.) There may be some frustration experienced, though gameplay is easy. The flying zord can be a bit tricky to control at first. Also, changing between zords can happen without you meaning to do so. In addition, one scenario near the end seemed almost impossible, but learning the zord's new move and how to apply it made it easy. We do still have to unlock everything, so there is some challenge, but gameplay itself is very simple.

This game kicks butt!! I've always wanted a Power Ranger game for Gamecube and here it is!!! I loved this game because not only it's the first Power Ranger game for Gamecube but it includes lots of challedging missions and you can also play as the rangers' zords but I give this 4 stars of fun because you can't play as the rangers, only the zords and also the NS and WF zords can ONLY be played in the Power Games levels. But since I loved Power Rangers, I still loved this game even though its short and all.

So who came up with the concept of this game. I would have expected this type of gameplay on the Gameboy, but the power of the GameCube could have been utilized more in the making of this game. You pretty much just battle as the Megazords. My son who is 5 years old doesn't even want to play the game anymore. He played it on the first day for just half and hour and got bored. He kept complaining that the game is boring and that he wanted to go back to the store to get a different game. It may be great for the kids who are just getting into video games. But it can be boring for the older kids. The game can be put to better use as a coaster for your drinks. Try before you buy!
