It's new and improved meets old school, as the folks at MGA combine the higher-wattage
Power Rangers Lightspeed from FoxKids network with the old-time flippers 'n fingers fun of pinball. But the MGA marketing mavens tend to overstate the case: their use of the word electronic in their Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue Electronic Pinball Machine tends to promise voltage more powerful than that supplied by three C batteries (not included), resulting in a few flashing lights, some sounds, and an automatic LCD scorekeeping readout that wouldn't look out of place on a cheap digital watch. In fact, the game mechanics--the plastic flippers and ball launcher--operate without "electronics." This is one TV tie-in that tilts less toward Lightspeed than lightweight.
