This book is a must for anyone who does any writing in his or her career, which is everyone. Sue gives practical help that can be used immediately to get the results you need. The email tips are especially helpful. They are common sense tips that most of us have forgotten, but all need to remember if we are to be taken seriously in our email communication. Sue's style is direct, practical and lively. You will want to have everyone in your office read this book.

Power Sales Writing is valuable for writers and for anybody doing sales work. It is a down-to-earth and fun resource.I use this book as a text in a Telecommunications course I teach: "Writing for Sales". Sue gives concrete examples on style, content, and methods for writing good sales proposals and letters. I especially enjoy the section on etiquette for writing and sending emails.

Effective and very useful,
By A Customer
This review is from: Power Sales Writing (Paperback)
Power Sales Writing is a quick course on writing sales letters that get results. I spent a few hours yesterday at local book stores searching for this kind of book, and I'm very glad I found it. I crafted a letter today designed to solicit customer testimonials. Within two hours everyone had responded. The author offers a simple yet very effective process for crafting your correspondence. Following this process makes the creation much easier and quicker. While the book contains useful examples of good and bad letters, it is not full of useless templates. There are books like that out there, but most of the letter templates are irrelevant. Overall, the author did a great job providing the reader with valuable information without a lot of fluff. This will take you a few hours to read, but will certainly deliver results.

This book tells us "like it is" in a practical understanding way.We may know many of the lessons in the book but do we understand why and how to use them. The chapter on e-mails was right on point and will improve my use of e-mail etiquette. |
