It works. One caveat...,

It works as advertised. Plug in your cpu to the master outlet, and it will power off/on your other connected devices when the pc switches off/ on. There is one unswitched outlet that's always on.
Trouble is with many larger "transformer plugs" that many devices use nowadays, there may not be enough room in between the outlets for everything to fit.

If my computer is off or on standby, my monitor, speakers, and printer are off, saving energy. Works great, I've had no issues with it. Recommended!

UNRELIABLE UNIT AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE,

This review is from: Power Sentry PPP3275WA 6-Outlet Smart Surge Protector with Phone Line Protection (Electronics)
I bought this Power Sentry surge protector a little more than a month ago and I just started using it just a couple days ago. The first time I used it, I put my Mac on sleep mode and this unit won't let my computer to go on stand-by mode for some reason. When it finally did, the surge protector started to make a clicking sound and the "Slave" light started to blink but the "Protected" and "Grounded OK" lights were illuminated steadily so I thought that the unit is still protecting my iMac desktop. I called the company customer service and this guy named "Dale" said there's no warranty on the unit. I told him that's not what the Product Warranty states on the box (which is the life of the product). He quickly said to return the unit to the retailer but I told him that I bought it online and it has just passed its 30-day return policy regardless when I started to use the unit. He said that he couldn't help me any longer. So I went online at [...] (maker of Power Sentry products) to used their online chat help and lo and behold, it was the same guy I just talked to over the phone but this time his name online is "Thomas C.". He told me to try to file a claim at [...] so I quickly went to that website. Just when I completed the form and tried to submit it, their website states that the their server is not accepting any communications from me because it was deemed "unauthorized domain" and that I should hit the "back" button of my browser to send the form again. So I did just that and I got the same message from them: BASICALLY REJECTING MY CLAIM. Buyers beware of buying any Philips or PowerSentry products. Their website are not user friendly at all and their Customer Service is lousy. Save yourself from any disappointments and frustrations.
