5.0 out of 5 stars Best Advice in the World, May 8, 2004
By
Suzanne Caplan (Pittsburgh, Pa United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Power of Simplicity (Paperback)
This book along with its companion "But I Might Need it Soneday" has made a major difference in my life. I realized how I had overcomplicated everything I do by being concerned with small things and not thinking of simplicity. Patty's direct way of explaining the theory resonates and was my call to action. In the few months since I begin putting her words into action, I feel as if I have regained control of my surroundings. Highest Kudos on this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Use with a Highlighter, September 20, 2006
This review is from: The Power of Simplicity (Paperback)
Get out your highlighter because Kreamer's book has some powerful "keeper" statements! The one that particularly impressed me was her definition of clutter as unmade decisions. As a decisive person, that statement became my challenge.

I read and re-read this book because it is straightforward with immediately useful strategies to simplify your life, home, or office. If you live in any type of physical or emotional clutter and chaos (or know someone who does) get this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Advice; Simply Put!, June 2, 2004
By
Marilyn Lawrence (Monroeville, PA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Power of Simplicity (Paperback)
After reading "The Power of Simplicity" along with Patty's other book "But I Might Need It Someday...", I have really started to put my life in order. I am more organized and feel more at ease after heeding her advice. The book is an "easy read" so you won't spend so much time reading before you can start using her tips. I wanted to share this great advice with others so much that I bought extras to give to friends and family. Thank you Patty!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Gem of a Book!, September 24, 2007
This review is from: The Power of Simplicity (Paperback)
When I first received this book I was a bit disappointed because it seemed cheaply (probably self-published) made. However, when I read it my eyes were opened. The saying "Never judge a book by its cover" is certainly true here. Patty truly offers up great advice to assess your life and priorites, and of course all your stuff. I am putting into practice her advice little by little. I plan to re-read it again soon to make sure I am practicing what she preaches. Great read and wel worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful Simplicity Indeed!, March 19, 2007
This review is from: The Power of Simplicity (Paperback)
In the introduction of this book Patty Kreamer says "The issue is that as human beings, we tend to allow life to be difficult. Unfortunately, we are not alien creatures that would be satisfied with just the basics of survival: air, water, food, and shelter." No truer statement has ever been made. Add "The Power Of Simplicity" to your arsenal, take time to read it and act on the suggestions made. You will find yourself less stressed, more kind and so much more time for your family and favorite activities. Patty tells you that life doesn't have to be stressful and difficult and she will help you simplify and enjoy your life more.
