Since 1988, I have listened to Louise Hay and bought her books. This particular CD is one of Louise Hay's best work ever! This is a LIVE CD with 7 tracks. In this lectures, Louise gives a true story of her past when years ago, she found out that she had cancer. She was determined to get well and realized that negative thoughts and negative words can really damage your health. She then changed her negative thinking to positive thoughts and she totally recovered and her whole life changed for the better. She later went on to teach others: "Change your thoughts, change your life!" She has helped so many and she has certainly helped me! The sound quality is excellent and the message truly inspired me to think about:
1) Words that I think (how thoughts in my create my future).
2) Words that I say (how words I say affect me, my relationships, and everthing that affects me).
This CD I will listen to often because it has caused me to realize just how powerful thoughts and words are! I highly recommend this to anyone in need of making a positive change to your life! It really works!

This is actually a live recording of one of her events. Still, it is very good and makes some very good points. I really enjoy her I Can Do It CD also. These are great for listening to in the car.

I have to say that as a Christian, I don't agree with some of her beliefs, like Reincarnation, or that you give yourself cancer, (doesn't make much sense when a very young child is stricken with cancer), though I do believe you can make yourself sick with stress or better with laughter (good endorphins). Louise Hay was a sexually abused child that developed cancer so I can see where she made that correlation. Actually, many of her beliefs are based on bible teachings.

I think it would be a shame not to glean the very useful and helpful information about the power of positive thinking and just how powerful our words are.

I love Louise Hay!!! I think she has a powerful gift to give to most everyone. She has taught me how to forgive and love myself and trust others. This is a great book/cd to get.

The power of words often reflect the power of our thoughts.

I've been a long-time fan of Louise Hay, and this CD is such an excellent tool for becoming aware of our thoughts and words and how we're impacting our world with these things.

For example, "if we belittle ourselves, life will mean very little to us."

This CD is based on a lecture-series Louise gives, and it's so incredibly helpful.

"It's very easy to blame them (the famous 'them')... but if we do that, we stay stuck."

Every single sentence is like a gem of insight, and Louise talks about her own growth and insights as she learned to change her life by changing her thoughts. And I think that's what has been most helpful to me, hearing how she works through this process of changing her mind (quite literally), moving away from rigid old beliefs into a belief of love and abundance and self-support and self-esteem.

Begin the adventure of HOW to change your thinking and how your thoughts and words affect yourself and your world.

An excellent CD from Louise Hay. If you are new or old to metaphysics, you will enjoy this CD. Louise has a way of making you feel comfortable with her voice. I particularly like listening to her. She has many valuable insights.

If you like listening to motivational talks over and over this is the cd for you. I ran a search for affirmation cds and this was one of the cds that was on the search results. This is a wonderful PEP talk, but not an affirmation CD which is what I was looking for. If you are looking for a great motivational talk this is a great one to choose. Louise Hay is a wonderful speaker who is very open and humorous. She really speaks to human issues addressing how negativity affects our lives. She gives you several pointers on the direction to take for changing your negative self-talk. It is really a very good motivational cd. There is a short meditation at the end of the talk.

I take turns listening to this and the Griswolds while driving and working out. It is amazing how much we don't realize we take for granted and how much negative self talk we have. These CD's all bring to light how we are our own worst critic and that given time and focused attention to particular self talk we can overcome our negative self. We hear so much how bad we are that we need to believe that we ourselves love us enough to get out of our own way. I have been listening to them daily for the last 30 days, usually for multiple hours while I drive and while working out, and all I can say is that they really keep me positive. Even when I beat myself up for being out of shape, or for being mean to my now Ex- Fiance. These CD's have taught me that I was only doing what I was taught to do, and now that I have more information I can change my behavior, and learn to love myself. Which will in turn help me to love someone else.

A must have for anyone concerned about the influence of the words you speak everyday and their impact

I love Louise hay! She has changed my life completely! I saturate myself with her words of advice & my life is better than I ever imagined!!! I never knew the power we have within & how we all can change our life easily! This is a must to have in your collection!

How you feel about your work, your life, your body, is just a thought; and you can change your thoughts. This is powerful stuff and it works.
