I have been a Christian for over thirty years but my Christian walk has been a constant struggle. I call it my journey in the wilderness. The reason the children of Isreal could not enter into the promised land, which is just an example of how we apprehend/comprehend the promises of God, was because of unbelief. If we war in the flesh, it will be a constant losing battle. Only when we take up the sword of the spirit, which is the "SPOKEN" WORD of God, will we be able to start experiencing victory. Jesus said, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I SPEAK unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." (emphasis added) John 6:63

If you have a Strong's Concordance look up LOGOS, it means something SAID.
