4.0 out of 5 stars Power Station Funk/Rock at its finest, April 19, 2004
This review is from: Power Station (Audio CD)
This is a great album that still holds up today. It's hard to believe that 3 of the people involved with this recording are now dead. Drummer Tony Thompson, Singer Robert Palmer and Producer & Bassist Bernard Edwards. From start to finish there isn't a bad tune on this album. I gave it a 4 only because the CD doesn't sound as good as the vinyl does. Bernard supplied the funky bass parts in the middle section of Get It On (Bang A Gong), it's too bad he never received any credit. I would recomend this CD, but stay away from The Living In Fear CD, that one is all over the map with only a couple of good tunes.
