I have read the book twice, I really like it. The audio CD is terrible. It has two glaring faults.
First, it is read far too fast. It sounds as if they had 60 minutes of material and only 45 minutes of recording time, read far too fast.
Second, their is virtually no content. All they reader does is read list after list. 1st...2nd...3rd. For chapter after chapter.
If you haven't read the book, you would have absolutely no idea how to use the skills the author teaches.
A real disappointment.

If you enjoy listening to a laundry list read rapidly with a number in front of every sentence, you might be able to endure this. May contain some good stuff, but nothing in depth and the presentation is the pits.

In this Audio Book, the laws of the mind are presented in a simple, straightforward way, that any person of average intelligence will be able to grasp and use these profound teachings.

but it has the main point of the Book The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphy, if you read this book you can review and remember these profound teachings, if you didn't read this book, or you don't have time to read it, this Audio CD is a great product to know and apply the laws of the mind

I absolutely recommend the book version of it. It gives good and practical information about how to use your subconscious mind in every area of your life. The CD is only a super fast (seriously) summary of the main points of the chapters. It is spoken at the speed of light. I am used to a more detail CD of a book where the reader speaks calmly and more slowly so you can actually get the information. It sounds like a an option sale to the highest bidder.

If every human being on earth knew what was in this there could be no war, crime, or hunger.

It's the "all-time classic" of positive thinking, to me.
The POSM must be in the shelves of anyone who believes in this kind of issue. To those who do not believe it, a trial reading or listening to such a hit, will probably uncover the doubts and will be able to experience the fantastic changes ( or "miracles" ) the ultimatelly occur when we change our way of thinking the way we are taught to do.

This CD has titles, subjects and highlights on what's in the actual book, "Power of the Subconscious Mind." By Joseph Murphy. I thought it was the entire book on CD but it is not. It is still okay but you don't get the meat and details of the book. For the price I paid, I wanted the entire book on CD.

I thought this was going to be a great book that was abridged from the great book "The power of the subconscious mind". However I was very disappointed. It was read so fast and it was done in less then 60 minutes. Everything is a list 1 thur 10. He doesn't even explain the most important things that the book is about. I have read the book twice and brought the book my self. I didn't buy this CD, the library brought it for me. I feel like I wasted there money on it. I don't suggest anybody waste $19.99 on a CD that you will get nothing out of it. If you want to read this great book, which I believe is very useful. You can buy the new book for $4.99 and from reading the preview it looks like it is the original version that the author Joseph Murphy wrote. I am amazed that they are selling it for a little amount of money. I know this is a very bad review, I am just looking out for everybody interest and I believe in being very honest. I know everybody works hard for their money and $4.99 is the best value and the most helpful in your life.
