Crystal vs. anti-glare aside, Power Support has the best screen protectors of any brand I have tried.

I won't try this brand again though, i submitted a review of this product on their web site, and it was never posted, so this seems like a pretty questionable company.

If what you want is to reduce glare and eliminate fingerprints and smudges, I recommend this product.

Power Support films are the best, hands down. You're not going to find anything better. (Although the Steinhall films are a good contender and carry many phone brands.)

Yes, anti-glare does reduce screen quality some. It has to, I don't think there is any way around it. It did on the previous iPhones as well, it is not specific to the retina display. The retina display is still gorgeous.

If you don't want fingerprints, get the anti-glare.
If you want perfect screen quality covered in fingerprints, then get their crystal film.

I owned the equivilent product when I had the 3GS and liked it. Aside from the anti-glare and smudge resistance, I appreciated the tactile feel of it. However, after putting the same product in my iPhone 4 I instantly noticed a decrease in display quality. I tried it for a couple of weeks, but it made the display look the same quality as my 3gs. I finally purchased a cheaper "crystal clear" protector and am once again enjoying the retina display. I believe Powersupport has a clear version, and may try that in the future, but I HIGHLY recommend avoiding the anti-glare verson. I would much rather deal with smudges and occasional glare and have the bright, clear quality of the retina display.

I have had my iphone 4 now for about two months and have tried out four different companies' anti-glare film. None have come close to the quality of Powersupport's HD Anti-glare films for iphone 4. Of the others the quality of the film itself was shoddy, thin sheets of plastic that easily got scratched or air bubbles, were not truly cut to fit the iphone well and came up easily at the edges with the case I use, the Belkin Grip Vue. Maybe others don't mind carrying the phone around without a cover but besides the benefits to apple's famously troubled iphone reception, I am way too clumsy to consider walking around without a cover so the fit of a screen cover with the case is a major consideration for me.
That all being said Powersupport has exceeded my expectations again with a superior product. The film is truly an anti glare and smudge proof film as I tried it with oily fingers just to test it out and it was hardly noticeable. The fit of the film on the iphone is awesome and its the first film I have used that works with my case. The film itself is slightly thicker than the rest but that makes it more durable and the ability to take the film off and then on again because the film uses static cling to attach. In addition to all these benefits, its a great value because it comes with two sets of film.

I fail to see how some people can expect a crystal clear image with a translucent screen protector... Use common sense! Yes, you will be sacrificing a small amount of "crispness" in your image, but this is only really noticeable with white colors, or very bright ones. I personally adjusted very quickly to the fuzziness of the picture, and it's not really even noticeable. I believe the one star raters are either just plain dumb or they didn't even give the screen protector more than 10 minutes before they came and posted a bad review.

Having said that, I've used the Power Support Crystal Clear protectors. While the image was phenomenal with those, they also scratch very easily and fingerprints would cover the screen in a matter of minutes. After to switching to these, I won't be going back to the clear protectors.

My advice, having used both clear and matte protectors, is this: Use these if you want a clean, aesthetic looking phone, with a nice feel on the screen. Use the clear if you obsess over picture quality, but don't mind scratches and fingerprints.

Both are excellent protectors for your iPhone's screen, but I believe they BOTH deserve 5 stars, primarily for the extremely easy installation, the long life use, and the great quality.

I've ordered from PowerSupport before and the screen protector works great. Easy to put on and the pre-installation film really helps with the dust and lint. This time, it came with a lint cloth and not the pre-installation film. It seems this time it came straight from Japan in a silver package. The ones from the Apple store are in a green package. The lint cloth leaves tiny specks of dust/lint on it. I probably won't order again from Amazon but will order from Power Support website or Apple store.

This is my first experience with an anti-glare screen film. It does reduce/eliminate glare as advertised; however, it makes the retina display on my iPhone 4s a little fuzzy - it doesn't allow the beauty of the screen to come through the film. This disappointed me, so I've ordered a different brand screen protector that is not anti-glare.

Do not be tricked by the good reviews. This Powersupport film really makes the iPhone 4 screen less clear. With the film on, images on the screen literally have a million very tiny speckles that are really noticeable. Although I installed it perfectly with no bubbles, I would not recommend this screen protector. Before I installed this film, I had the original film that Apple had on and I honestly think that it was better than this one. Not to mention that this one is pretty pricey as well.

UPDATE: See my mockup of what the iPhone looks like with this film on in the "Customer Images" of this product.

----- UPDATE (September 9, 2012): -----
I'm sorry if my review was not clear, but I was not comparing ideal conditions to real-world conditions. As far as I know, there are two types of screen protectors. Those like this product are considered anti-glare, and basically have a "matte" finish. Because of the anti-glare finish, you will be able to see tiny specks of color distortion with this screen protector on. The second type of screen protector, the type I indirectly compared to in my review, has a smooth and completely transparent finish. With these types of screen protectors, you will not see specks on the screen, but you may experience glare in the bright light settings.

To some people, the advantage of no-glare outweighs the cost of screen clarity. To others, like me, I believe this screen protector devalues and distorts the iPhone's crystal clear Retina display to the point that I'd much rather use the second type of screen protectors. Because of this, I cannot tell you which type of screen protector to get. I can only recommend looking at the effects of the two types of screen protectors (in person) to see which one you prefer.
