Power thinkers live life as if they are what they envision they can be, according to this well-known preacher. This recording of Schuller's 30th book covers his seven principles of power thinking. The material is part of a seemingly endless genre, but the author's approach is firmly rooted in religious beliefs, which will limit this audiobook's appeal to equally faithful members of his flock. There are some marvelous gems of personal testaments to positive thinking here, which are certain to show up soon on the rubber chicken circuit, but the listener is forced to sift through an awful lot of traditional religious ideology in order to find them. When Schuller delves into scientific truths, he is in way over his head. Such an example is his concept of "divine creativity," or deist evolution, an oxymoron if ever there was one. Because of Schuller's reputation and success, buy this according to demand.
