Positive messages. My 17yr old thought they were silly and below her maturity. I liked them.

I work as a therapist for children and families and I've found many uses for these cards. It has allowed many conversations to happen that would not have otherwise. The messages are positive and are also worded in such a way that they could be listed as goals too. You will definitely learn something about the teens when you use these cards. Great product!

While I am not into this kind of thing, my 17 daughter is. I bought these for her. Per 17 year old teenager: I found them to be uplifting when I read thru them. Plus the artwork is really interesting". Straight from the horses mouth...

She states she would recommend to friends, and she chose the 4 star rating.

I bought these to use with tween and teen kiddos I work within a therapeutic setting. We discuss what the power thought means to them or their thoughts on it. The illustrations are stellar! I find myself looking at them without the kids! One drawback is that some of the affirmations may be confusing or considered weird to some.

I bought these cards to share with my girlfriends daughters after I saw how much they loved the Power Thought Cards for adults! After my friends daughter saw and played with the Power Thought Cards for adults she automatically wrote up 14 different powerful affirmations. It was very moving. For this reason I bought the Power Thoughts for teens because I was thinking they may be a little more age appropriate to share with them. These cards are perfect for kids, preteens and teens and they have fun pictures on them...I know once they see these cards they will LOVE them even more. I can't wait to share them and see them write more of their own affirmations! A very powerful and helpful tool for kids today so they can learn to feel good about themselves and their environment!

i suggest bigger size for the cards and to emphesize on the writing itself rather than the drawings, in order to give the affirmations the importance!!
