A Definate Must Have CD For Godhead Fans, November 5, 2002
This review is from: Power Tool Stigmata (Audio CD)
I have to admit, I almost didn't buy this CD. I was almost dissuaded by some pretty bad reviews. I'm so glad that I got it anyway, it's one of a kind. Does it ever annoy you when you really like a band and all of their music on every CD sounds the same? Godhead is one of the rare bands that has managed to have a unique and wonderful sound on each album. The songs have a beautiful mixture of programming and guitar, and Jason's voice completes it. The instrumental songs are amazing, the Method shows what he truly can do on Laura's Theme. 2000 Years of Human Error was good, but this is raw Godhead. Godhead without the help of Marilyn Manson, Twiggy, and Reeves Gabriel. All of the bass and programming by the Method, instead of having a guest artist, same thing with the guitar and Mike. If you buy this CD, you will definately get your money's worth out of it.

I too saw Godhead in concert, when they opened for GWAR in Seattle. In spite of the fact that the crowd gave them a negative outpouring, they were awesome. I was most impressed, and bought their album a week later. While the CD can't reinact their powerful stage performance (if only you knew), it will enhance the atmosphere every time you play it. Buy it. Listen to "Penetrate" during you know what...

Solid release., February 11, 2003
This review is from: Power Tool Stigmata (Audio CD)
Being a part of the audience during Manson's Guns, God, and Government tour led to purchases 2 albums from both the opening acts, one being The Union Underground and the other being Godhead. After giving 2000 years a listen I went and purchased this older release. Power Tool Stigmata has it's peaks and gutters of both good, bad and even unique efforts, but, other than being a solid studio band, Godhead is clearly in their prime when on stage in front of the people. Their live show alone makes them worth mentioning.
