When Doug is made the school hall monitor, he isn't sure if he wants to tell people what to do. But when his newfound influence impresses Patti and puts Roger in his place, Doug decides responsibility may not be all bad. Then Doug gets carried away with ordering his friends around---has the power gone to his head?

My book is called Doug's Power Trip. It's about Doug being a hall moniter. He is being strict to everyone. First he liked his job. Then he didn't. He goes and tells the assistant princapal that he dooesn't want the job anymore. Then he tells his friends that he is sorry.

Doug is a Hall monitor. He catches kids running in the hall and gives them a ticket for detention. The kids get mad at him. Doug loses his friends so he doesn't want to be a hall monitor.

I think this book is pretty good because it was fun to read. I would read this book again.

My daugher and I just read this book lastnight and we thought it was great!! Any kid that watches Doug will love this story.
