This review is from: Power of the True Love Knot (Audio CD)
Shirley Collins is a key player in the late 1960s, early 1970s, resurgence in interest in the traditional music of the British Isles. This disk is a great introduction to her take on traditional songs, or in a more extensive collection would fill in some of the revived music from this disk which was skipped by later "best of" sorts of compilations.
