Good for beginners,

This review is from: The Power of Visual Imagery: A Reading Comprehension Program for Students with Reading Difficulties (Paperback)
This is a very good book if you are just starting to use visual imagery in your classroom- which I am. There is a lot of explanation and several steps by lessons. It is easy to follow and good for a variety of age ranges. The lessons range from very, very basic to slight complex. It also gives a great summary of learning disabilities and what that means. This is a great book for any teacher to have in their library.

This review is from: The Power of Visual Imagery: A Reading Comprehension Program for Students with Reading Difficulties (Paperback)
It is refreshing to see visual imagery strategies on the cover! The author is also accurate in claiming that imagery is a research-based intervention that fits nicely within an RtI model. All students can benefit from practicing the use of imagery. In addition, children with specific learning disabilities can show impressive gains after participating in a program of this nature.
