The Power Wheels Barbie Jammin' Jeep Wrangler is constructed with a sturdy steel frame that supports a maximum weight of 130 pounds. Charming purple accents on the bumper, roll bar, and windshield highlight its durable bright pink plastic exterior. The working doors not only open and close to provide security, but also add realistic detail. For added safety, the interior of the vehicle features smooth contours and rounded edges to protect against cuts and scratches.
Pretend Radio Features Six Jammin' Tunes
Since no driving adventure is complete without music, the Barbie Jammin' Jeep Wrangler offers six jammin' tunes. Using the pretend radio, your child can select from six different preprogrammed tunes to play while on the go. The radio features large buttons for ease of use and colorful details such as station readout and GPS display stickers, making role play fun and convincing.
Two Speeds for Beginners and Advanced Users
Whether your child is a beginner or an advanced driver, the Barbie Jammin' Jeep Wrangler's two driving speeds can accommodate him or her. The vehicle features an electronic power lock braking system that automatically stops the vehicle when your child's foot lifts from the pedal. A shifter with high-speed lockout for beginners provides custom control of driving speeds--low speed for normal 2-1/2-mph cruising and high speed for maximum 5-mph racing. The vehicle can also shift into reverse for convenient backing up.
The Power Wheels Barbie Jammin' Jeep Wrangler performed remarkably well in testing. The vehicle took approximately 90 minutes to assemble and 18 hours to fully charge. Its solid construction and low center of gravity provided optimal handling and balance. Thanks to its 12-volt rechargeable battery, the vehicle drove with sufficient power backwards and forwards, providing an enjoyable ride. However, steering capability was somewhat limited, as was the pretend radio's six preprogrammed tunes. Despite these concerns, kids will likely appreciate the sleek styling, powerful handling, and custom controls.

Overall I really like the jeep. My 3 year old daughter enjoys it too, although at first she was a little afraid to make it go. She's a little on the cautious side:)
The description advises that it will go on hard surfaces & grass, not really. The tires are slick plastic & just spin, even on the slightest incline on the drive. I ordered some 'traction bands' based on another's previous review. We're waiting for them to arrive to see if they make a difference.
"Realistic details inside and out like a real-working FM radio" Ummm, this is a stretch....realistic details are stickers & the fm radio plays static, hard to get a station, now that could be just me, I do live in a rural area. One thing I thought they could have is a horn, I was surprised not to find one.
It is fun for my daughter to drive, take her dolls & toys along & a friend. Our dog runs along side with her & everyone gets some fun! Even mom, dad, grandparents, aunts & uncles as we watch:)

I have 2 kids 5 and 2. The 2 speed helps when my little one is riding they go on low and hi when the big one is alone. The battery works well for a week using it 2 hours a day. The jeep runs great on grass and my asphalt driveway. The FM radio is clear and load. Perfect for kids.

I bought this jeep for my 3yr. old for Christmas. It's still in the box so I can't comment on how well it works but what I can say is all the stores advertise this as having a Power Wheels Barbie Jammin Jeep Wrangler
working FM radio. That is the old version, the 2010 version that is in stores now only has a button u push and it plays 6 songs. I almost took it back when I discovered it by reading someone else's review. But I decided to go ahead and keep it and just bought her a small little boombox to go with it. I called Fisher Price and they seem surprised as well but apologized that the stores were advertising the old version. So if u had ur heart set on the working FM radio, it's no longer available :(

A blast for 3-5 year olds
The size is best for 3-5 year olds of average size. The kids love blasting around in the yard with it. Goes up to 5 mph but you can limit that. Read more
