5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product
We bought this Jeep for our daughters 2nd birthday. She loves it! She is a tall 2 year old and still couldn't reach the pedal so we attached a piece of wood to the pedal and she is able to power up. When she gets in she turns the key and then pulls the radio onto the set next to her, puts on some music and starts drivin'. She hasn't gotten the steering part down yet,...

3.0 out of 5 stars Safety Issues & Weak Body Parts
I had bought this Barbie Jeep for my 3 granddaughters to share. But it only fits 2 and is only confortable for shorter kids in the age range of 3-5. There is not enough leg space for an older child.
We live in a rural area & they need to wear safety helmets as they have turned it over twice getting pinned underneath. Always make sure the battery is securely in place...

We also have a rough yard and many hills and this little Jeep has been able to withstand it all. It had at most so far about 80lbs in it going up hill and did great!

we bought this for my daughter's 3rd birthday and she loves it! she rides it almost daily in the backyard. it goes great in the grass and even better on the sidewalk. My son who is now 17 mths is a constant passenger. I love the seatbelts and how durable it its. the only thing is all the stickers that come with it- they dont stick very well. We bought another 12 volt battery for it and each battery seems to last quite awhile. I cant wait until my son turns two so we can get him the lil quad from power wheels so he can drive right along with his sis.

We bought this for our daughter that just turned 5. She wanted this for years but we could never afford it. She loves it and has a great time. I also have a 2 year old daughter that loves taking rides with her big sister. There is plenty of room for both of them and they enjoy listening to the Barbie tunes while they are cruising though I wish the tunes played a bit louder so you could hear them over the engine. There's a lot of storage so when we walk to the park, I can keep our snacks in there. I think it will still be in great shape when it gets passed down to my youngest child since the quality seems pretty good. Overall, I love this and I'm so happy my daughters love it too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hours of Fun, April 20, 2004

My neice has had her Jeep for about 2 years now and she's still not gotten bored of it! I saw a few reviews where people say their Jeeps go slow and the battery lasts long. I would think maybe something's wrong with their battery. My neice can go days on a battery. (I am over the 80 lbs limit and it runs just fine with me in it!) Anyway, this was the best gift we've ever given her. She just loves to ride around with the neighbor girls. The Jeep is definately durable because adults, me included, have gone for rides in the Jeep and my neice has driven the Jeep around nearly every nice day the past two years. Just yesterday we were joking about how her Jeep probably has about 10,000 miles on it!

I definately recommend the Barbie Jeep. My neice has so much fun with it and it has been something that she's grown with and still hasn't gotten tired of!

5.0 out of 5 stars Her first car!, May 10, 2004

This Power Wheels is great! My husband and I just bought it for our 2 and a half year old daughter, and she loves it. Not only that, but it goes over even the roughest terrrain, up and down hills and doesn't miss a beat. The only times it has gotten stuck was when there was a hole or a small ditch in the way, and even then this Jeep is easy to pull out and back on the road. Another thing about this Jeep is that it can really take a beating! Our daughter is still a little young, so she doesn't quite get the stearing part of her new car, so we have done a lot of crashing into trees, and her Jeep doesn't have a single mark! This is an AWESOME toy and really worth the money.

My daughter loves this! I bought it for her 3rd birthday and she absolutely loves it. She drives it around the yard with my son who has the Kawasaki motorcycle. They play for hours. The battery lasts for days.

I am a 6 year old girl. I love my jeep very much. I almost ride it everywhere. I drive my friends a lot in it and drive it in the front and in the back. It is way cool!! I really like it and it helps me to learn how to drive a real car when I grow up.
My Daddy helped me write this, but I gave him the words.

This is a great car and my 31/2 year old grand daughter LOVES it.
I have purchased 3 power wheels for 3 grand-children and wish I'd known on the first two what I've learned on the 3rd one.
You can go to EBAY and purchase (4) 4inch wide rubber bands to put on the plastic wheels and they virtually stop the spinning of the wheels and the need to constantly be pushed up the slightest hill or on the least bit of damp grass. These bands made the car a 5 star item!! without them, its a 2 star rating.

Always make sure the battery is securely in place so it does not fall out in case of accidents such as these. I have a 10 yr old Goddaughter who had to have 8 stitches in her forehead when she was hit with a flying 6-volt battery from another incident with another childs jeep as to which she was not riding in. But was standing too close by when they rolled over.
Its very difficult to put together. The gears are long lasting but everything with the body is not. The window bar that pops up or lays down flat in the front will not stay up after repeatedly being put up and down. The bimini part is the first thing to break. The kids grab it to get in and out of the jeep and it can not handle the pressure as its only plastic. The battery is the longest lasting part. But even brand new, it didn't have the juice to go up a hill more than twice.
The wheels have absolutely no traction & when they stop in wet grass on steep grade, it will slide.
All the stuff that went wrong with it happened the first summer they had it within a few months.
We drug it out for the second summer and they were riding around with nothing left but the pink plastic body with the original battery & wheels. It looked like it needed towed to a junk yard. (smiles)
It is not meant for rural tough kids or tough use. But the kids love it. I think they are quite overpriced for the amount of time they last.
