For more than fifty years, Don Gossett has been serving the Lord through full–time ministry. Born again at the age of twelve, Don answered his call to the ministry just five years later, beginning by reaching out to his unsaved family members. In March 1948, Don overcame his longtime fear of public speaking and began his ministry in earnest, preaching for two country Baptist churches in Oklahoma.
Blessed with the gift of writing, Don became editor of the Bible College magazine in San Francisco; afterward, he was invited to become editor of an international magazine. Following this, he served as editor of T. L. Osborn's Faith Digest, a magazine that reached over 600,000 homes each month.
Don has penned many works, particularly ones on the power of the spoken word and praise. His writings have been translated into almost twenty languages and have exceeded twenty–five million in worldwide distribution. Additionally, Don has recorded scores of audio series. His daily radio broadcast, launched in 1961, has been released into eighty–nine nations worldwide.
Don raised five children with his first wife, Joyce, who died in 1991. In 1995, Don found lifelong love again and married Debra, an anointed teacher of the Word. They have ministered worldwide and have lived in British Columbia, Canada, and in Blaine, Washington State.
In September 2009, Don and Debra (also an ordained minister) founded a new church in Vancouver, British Columbia, where they continue to serve as pastors. The International Community Church truly is an international body of believers with members from many nations sharing a vision: to bring the saving, healing, and restoring power of Jesus to the community, locally and abroad.

MIGHTY POWER OF GOD,
By A Customer
This review is from: Power Of Your Words (Paperback)
This book tapped into insights given in Scripture on how to pray the 'right' way and how we, as Christians, have 'missed the boat' in living and praying victoriously in Christ because we have missed something important. God gives us the power to be victors through Jesus, but we have not claimed the promises that God has given to us. This is a "how to" book that is changing my life overnight! This book is also has incredible insights on FAITH. -- Guaranteed to change your life!

Your Words Can Set the Course of Your Life!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Power Of Your Words (Paperback)
A most to those who need to know the 'power of the spoken word'. Our God created this earth by the Spoken Word. There is life or death in the power of your Tongue. With our words we can change the course of our life! Whatever we sow in words, or deed, we will reap! So learn to speak what the Word of God says about you, and you will begin to experience life and peace and change the course of your life by what you say about yourself and others. It works! I highly recommend this book!

Keep your Bible handy.....,
By
This review is from: Power Of Your Words (Paperback)
I haven't read the book in its entirety yet, but wanted to comment. When reading this book, I'd advise knowing the Word of God. While Kenyon makes great points as far as confession of faith in all areas of your life, he did give some nonBiblical advice. I would not go so far as to call it heretical, and I speak about this out of love. On page 19, he says, "We should never confess our sins to people... Never tell anyone about your weakness or about your past blunders and failures"... Now, the Word of God does not agree with this, for in James 5:16, it says - Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. And in 2 Corinthians 12:10, it says - That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. We are to tell others of our past that God has delivered us from so that they can see His awesome work in our lives, and so that He can get the full Glory. So please, I advise you to keep your Bibles handy when reading this book. Actually, keep them handy when reading a book written by any Christian author. Let God be your final authority. God bless.
