Product Description

At 2900 mAh capacity, these rechargeable batteries provide up to 60% more power than comparable rechargeable batteries delivered less than a year ago. This means that you've got more and longer lasting power per charge when running your Digital-camera or any other portable device that accepts AA rechargeable batteries. The Power 2000 high-capacity AA rechargeable nickel-metal hydride batteries works for every item that uses AA batteries such as Digital Cameras, Flashes, PDA's, CD players, MP3 players, handheld video games, portable GPS devices, and many more. It lasts a lot longer than AA batteries made of alkaline or niCd cells, which were ineffective for high-drainage and power-hungry devices.

I ordered 2 pairs (8 batteries + 2 chargers) and 3 out of the 8 batteries seem to be fatter than the others and get stuck in my camera! It took me hours to get them out. They also get really hot when charging. Contacted the seller about the defective batteries and fixed the problem. Overall id say 4 stars for the product itself and 5 stars for the seller!

I was happy to find these rather-rare 2700mah AA batteries with a charger, for a good price, on a trustworthy site. So I ordered the lot right away. They arrived sooner than promised & I put them right to work in my Canon Powershot S2-IS digital camera. They are still serving me well; so I'm completely satisfied. Thanks, Amazon!!

Power2000 XP-333 Rapid Charger for NiMH or NiCD Batteries

This charger has four AA NiMH 2900mAh rechargeable batteries needed for any high drain digital camera. You may have to reset your camera to use these NiMH batteries instead of the usual alkaline batteries. It can be used for AAA batteries as well (untested).

It can take 4 or more hours with new batteries. The batteries are charged in pairs, two on the left and two on the right. You will see a red light when it is charging. It turns to green when the battery is charged. You should carry a spare set so your photography can continue when the batteries are low.

There is a round plug to allow this unit to be used on a 240v line in other countries.

Order arrived quick (before promised) n in good order. Used an known set of Panasonic alkaline as reference, these rechargeable did hold up as per specified. The charger will fully charge (from empty) a pair of AA in about 5 hours quite acceptable for my routine. Didn't notice any difference using a fully charged pair which had been put aside for a month so the batteries hold charge quite well.

The one I received would never complete the charge on one of the 2 sides (it charges in pairs) so the red light on that side stayed light continuously, and the batteries on that circuit stayed hot. This was right after receiving the product, as it was delivered to me by Amazon. I tested it several times and always had the same problem.

I did not bother to try to figure out whether the problem was with the charger or with the batteries, instead I sent it back for a refund and bought something else.

It is a good product and I definitely recommend it. The batteries don't take long time to charge, and then when you use them the durability is pretty good.

Lightweight, super easy to use. I keep it in my camera case along with my spare batteries. Even when traveling I'm never more than an hour or so away from having power. I slap a fresh set of batteries in my camera, push the discharged ones in the charger - life is good. Also, the electric prongs fold flat for easy storage. Good product - decent price.

This is a very convenient set to use with wireless headphones that require two AA batteries. The charger puts a better charge in the batteries than the headphone charger does. It also keeps a spare set of batteries charged when the set in use needs charging.
