Got this to run a Raspberry Pi device I got. Works exactly as I expected it. No complaints at all!

The charger was working great until I went to pull it out of the power outlet. That's when the prongs and faceplate separated from the housing and the prongs remained in the outlet. Which was 120 VAC now freely available from two exposed contacts, ready to shock anything or anyone that dare bridge the two.

I had to shut off the power to safely remove the prongs.

Although it did charge my phone while it remained in one piece.

I am very pleased with my purchase, wasn't too sure if the USB and cord would work on my Samsung Galaxy S3. The only problem its slower in charging than the the one it came with.

End that plugs in came apart from the rest of the unit. We had to superglue it together. Works fine but still...to fall apart like that on day one??

I bought this for my Raspberri Pi because, believe it or not, all these adapters have different outputs. My Raspi needs at least 700mA, and this one is a full 1000mA (or 1amp,) so that's cool.

It's sleek and shiny, and the company just emailed me saying that it has a 12 month warranty, which is nice because I have a long history of chargers like this failing on me after a while. Either way, it's only $7, so you can't go wrong.

stopped charging in a few days. I'm not sure if the problem is with the USB connector or the plug. I understand the killer price now :-)

I bought this charger to use with a Raspberry Pi. I can confirm the Raspberry Pi works great when being powered by this charger. I've used the GPIO pins, network, usb, etc, on the raspberry pi. All work fine. If your Pi doesnt get enough power, certain things might not work correctly. Dont waste your time with an underpowered charger.

Plus it charges my cellphone, too.

I use this to charge my Samsung phone, and it charged it full in about an hour, probably a little faster than my original charger. I used my phone as normal while it's charging, and this is just like my original charger, except it costs a lot less!! I have seen other replacement chargers for cell phones costing many times more. It's light and compact and very sturdy. This will be good for me to use at home and travel, as it can be used with 110 to 240 v. This charger saves me a lot of money and does what I want it to do. I'm very happy with this charger, and is a great option for anyone looking for a replacement for their charger without spending much money. This is the lowest cost I've seen and it works just as I need it and glad I have it!!

There is not much you can say about a USB charger. I can tell you it powers of the devices I have used it with. It does not get hot like some I have use of the same amperage. It looks to be well built and it does work well.
