4.0 out of 5 stars Good value
Good value, my only complaint is that the pad is not adjustable in height. Assembly is easy enough to follow. Quality for the price you pay is expected.
Would have given it 5 stars if the pad was adjustable.

The overall construction is not bad, however, two key pieces are of lower quality than they should be. The seat and arm rest, which support all your effort/weight, are made out of wood.

When using this bench, I heard a creaking sound of wood already. I wonder how long it will last before the wood gives way. I like to lift heavy weight with my arms, so it...

When using this bench, I heard a creaking sound of wood already. I wonder how long it will last before the wood gives way. I like to lift heavy weight with my arms, so it is not ideal for me.

If you are serious about gaining big mass in your arms, you are better off spending the money buying a more sturdy and more serious preacher curl bench. This particular product is only for the casual user that is just trying to get a light toning in the arms or just get a light work out.

In trying to achieve serious mass on your arms, you can break this product, and get injured in the process.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth the Money, January 28, 2012

This is a good and sturdy bench. Strong and well made. Easy to put together. However, it would be a perfect bench if the adjustment point was below the curl pad NOT beneath the seat. Due to this setup, those with longer arms will not be able to use this bench because, when fully extending your arms, the curl bar will hit the top of the bar frame. My arms are ALMOST too long. Another half inch and I would NOT be a happy customer. No, I'm not a monkey! =)~ All this would be avoided if they had simply placed the adjustment point below the curl pad. FORTUNATELY, I AM a happy customer!!! Heh-heh. But they get 4 stars (not 5) due to bad packaging, which resulted in my bench having several areas of paint scraped off of it. But it does come with a little bottle of silver paint. Wow. Good on them! :)

1.0 out of 5 stars Not adjustable enough, December 10, 2011

This product is clearly designed for a specific body build and, if you don't have that build, it's useless to you. I'm 5'8'' and I must either be too short, have long legs, or something along those lines, because I cannot adjust this thing to fit me. The arm pad is not adjustable, so I have to raise the seat to its tallest height. But at that setting, it wobbles terribly even after fastening everything to their tightest.

I ordered this for my husband. It is exactly what he was looking for. The quality and ease of assembly were above my expectations. I had considered getting one without the seat and having him use a chair, but I am so glad I decided to pay the extra for the seat. It is well worth it. He loves it!

The preacher curl bench was easy to assemble and does what I wanted it to do. I had seen a different model in a retail store for about 3 times the price. I am very happy with this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent product, March 15, 2007
A very good bench, very solidly built. The seller kept in contact with me, and it arrived in good shape. Took about a half hour to assemble properly.
