"I've been using PowerPro for several years and never had a problem. Recently I purchased 500yds of 50# test for a fishing trip. I always test the line before a trip and this time the line kept snapping at only about 18lbs. I called Shimano to ask if they had production issues and to see if I could get a warranty exchange. They asked that I ship my line to them directly. No call tag, and was asked to ship to them on my dime. Let me get this straight, I purchased the line, paid for shipping and now you want me to ship the line back to you??? In the mean time, I have to spend more money to buy another braid for my trip. Thanks but no thanks PowerPro/Shimano. Apparently quality has gone down in the last year."
