4.0 out of 5 stars A good short film about our energy consumption but..., August 6, 2007
Power shift is a good short video for all of you that want to know about our current energy consumption habits and some of the problems and solutions associated with it.
But it seems that the film was made for a young audience with a potential short attention span as the film tries to expose in 26 minutes a modern complex issue that require a larger and comprehensive exposé.
Energy Crossroads: A burning need to change course, another documentary on Energy, does such a thing in just 52 minutes, as it is one of the first to comprehensively cover the key aspects of the energy/environment/economy dilemma. The film uses the best scientific arguments to construct a comprehensive exposé about resource depletion, the waste of our primary resources and the necessity to achieve sustainability. It also takes a positive view on where we are and what can be done.
