Card is fast and does well with the new digital camera. Packaging was no hassel since no blister pack. Easy for me to recommend

Received this free with my purchase of a digital camera here at Amazon. It's worked well for me so far. 4GB is big enough storage to start with for taking pictures and recording some video.

Wouldn't fit my camera as suggested by a ratings website, but did fit my game camera.

This memory card worked for less than a day before it started saving pictures in thumbnail size (or not at all). Those pictures could not be retrieved. Judging by the other negative reviews, my experience was not unique. I replaced the card with one by Sandisk and things are working fine.

We bought this memory card together with our Canon SD780IS. The camera takes 12.1 MP images each ~2mb in size. So this card can hold numerous pictures. It worked out of the box nicely - no need to format or anything. It can also be ready by our laptop (~12 mb per sec speed).

I ordered this memory card at the same time I ordered my canon powershot and it arrived before the camera. It works great with canon powershot, viewing pictures have never been easier and faster. I love it! I'm glad I bought it through Amazon frustration-free packaging because it shipped super fast. It came in a small brown envelope with inside padding which got to me safe and secure. I will definately make a another SD flash card purchase through Amazon again!

I have used this card for a while and all seemed to be well. It did it's job for quite some time. This past month it started giving me problems saying that the card needed to be reformatted, no problem. I took it on a photo shoot with me, filled it up, brought it home to download to my computer, my card reader wouldn't read it. Tried it with a different card reader- still nothing. Tried it on another computer different platform and it crashed the computer, it has caused me nothing but problems. I am not sure if it was this specific card or the brand/card in general but I would not recommend it to anyone.

Defective card but not the memory, the SD card casing was the issue.,

First of all, what was wrong with my card has to do with a casing notch opposite the lock for read/write capability. Because the A-data card notch was not deep enough, my cameras and laptop could not release the card and I almost broke my brand new NIKON D5000 camera in the process of taking out the card. I could have just taken a craft knife and deepened the hole but I returned the card because Amazon has a good return policy.
Second, I saw a lot of comments below about how folks took pictures and then went to their computer and the pictures were then gone. This may have to do with NOT formatting the card using the camera's setup menus. I did not format the card and started taking some sample shots and low and behold it did not show up on my computer (xp3 windows). then I formatted the card using the camera's format function and this time it worked...

Got this A-DATA 4 GB Memory Card for free when purchasing a camera as a gift for my wife for her birthday. The camera is great, the memory card is a piece of junk. I guess as they say, you can't look a gift horse in the mouth but this card has been nothing but trouble. We've reformatted it twice and still have problems with it. I'm going to replace it with a reliable Kingston memory card. I would not recommend this card to anyone unless you want to lose irreplaceable holiday pictures. Thanks Amazon.

I recently went on a trip and took video's of myself and my friends in the Poconos. On the ride back home i veiwed these videos a few times and was very pleased. When I plugged my camera into my computer to upload the videos and pictures i could no longer find them in the cards memory. It was as if they were never taken. I double and triple checked in the camera and they were all gone!
