I purchased this camera plus kit for my wife who wanted something better than a point-and-shoot but not as large, expensive, or difficult to use as a D-SLR. She has really enjoyed being able to take wide-angle shots inside the house, though if you use the flash with a wide-angle shot you get some shadowing from the lens. The kit really comes with everything you might want for the camera, with extra batteries, a charger, etc. However, all the accessories will not fit into the case, so if you want to carry both telephoto and wide angle lenses you will need a slightly larger bag.
So far we are very pleased with this purchase.

Bought this camera because my Canon Rebel, one great camera, was just too heavy to take on remote locations. This camera is fantastic in all aspects! Would highly recommend it! Takes great pictures, can't tell the difference between pictures from either camera. Controls are easily situated with the weight of the camera making it easy to carry long distances. Bought the camera in a package deal from Ace Camera and was really pleased with the whole deal. Thanks Canon for a another great camera choice!
