I wanted a smaller camera for vacations since my DSLR is quite bulky. The Canon was my choice since it has a viewfinder which makes taking pictures in bright light so much easier. The camera has more bells and whistles than you can imagine so there's a long learning curve if you want to know about all of them. or you can put it on AUTO and just shoot to your hearts content. It has WIFI but it's a bit odd so I haven't really used it. I got the "package deal" since it wasn't much more than the camera itself. The package was "the good the bad and the ugly" in my opinion. The good is the fact that it comes with two extra rechargeable batteries, a 64 Gb memory card, three stick-on screen protectors (which you have to cut to size unfortunately), a USB card reader. a lens cleaning kit, and an HDMI cable. That was worth the extra cost of the package. The bad is a small case (not Vivitar as shown in the photo) that barely holds the camera and an extremely tight fit if you have the camera's neck strap attached. The memory card wallet isn't too useful. You can take thousands of RAW with high res photos on the 64Gb card (most folks don't take such high resolution photos, you can get over 10k jpeg using the 6M pixel resolution). and personally, I've never taken that many on a vacation or anywhere before I downloaded to the computer, and the wallet is small enough to lose easily. the package comes with three small tripods, One seems useful in that you can get it to wrap around a pipe or branch (its legs are articulated) the other two are questionable and redundant. Then there's the ugly: you get a Wrist grip strap that the box states is for an SLR or DSLR. Except for the screw that mounts the base to the bottom of the camera, I couldn't figure out how it's supposed to attach and be used (either to the Canon or any of my SLRs. There's no instruction sheet, and even FOCUS's tech support couldn't help me. They told me to call the store.
So you get an awesome camera, some useful accessories and others that will wind up in the garbage.

Love the camera, but the bundle not too great, the camera bag, is so smal it only fits the camera and no extra batteries or accessories, plus when I opened it it was mildew/ moldy. The SD card won't work, I paid for expedited shipping cause I needed it all for a work outing. So after reading up & trying to reformat the card over and over nothing worked. I had to go out and buy a new sd card to be able to shoot at my work event. Overall, bummer. Good camera, so far. Not so good accessories. Plus I couldn't get a new replacement card because it was a bundle, is need to return the entire thing & I already needed it.

I've had the camera for a week and I'm totally LOVING it!!! Clear, crisp pictures with a lot of depth, and it's a fairly small camera. So far, I'm very impressed! I'm not a photographer, but I'm good at it, so I did some research and was ready to take a step up from my other Canon Powershot. What a great choice, and this is is a great package deal. Just the extra batteries alone make it a great deal, but there's this cool tri-pod that you can wrap around a tree branch or hang anywhere. Also memory card, memory stick, screen protectors for the viewer, lens cleaning kit, hi def cable, and a few other things as listed. I really like the hand strap. The case is small, and useful to carry around just the camera, but I'll have to get something slightly larger to carry an extra battery & small tripod. Very excited to take this traveling! Highly recommended!

The Canon PowerShot G16 Camera itself is $449.99. For just $10 more, this particular bundle package is phenominal. These additional items give you two back-up batteries, a 64GB SD Memory Card, a Card Reader, a Camera Case, a Wrist Grip Strap, a Tri-Pod, a Cleaning Kit, and a Media Card Case.

The quality of all the extras is excellent. Everything comes through Focus Camera. They are an excellent company, with an excellent reputation. They will stand behind their products.

I had the occasion to contact them regarding the camera case they sent out. It was the incorrect case as pictured in the advertisement. I called, explained the situation, and they immediately sent out the correct case, no questions asked.

If I need additional accessories for my cameras, I won't hesitate to shop online at Focus Camera.

Despite this camera's small size, it is a very impressive camera. I have only used it on one photographic expedition to China, but I was extremely impressed with its capabilities. It is a huge plus that you don't have to lug a huge camera around to get great shots.

Great overall camera to to keep in your purse or backpack. It is compact and takes great quality photos. It is nice that Canon added the Wi-Fi feature into the G16 so now I can send photos from the camera to my iPhone and then post them on Facebook or Instagram. The bonus kit is great because it gave me all of the little extras I needed plus an extra battery. I don't use the case so I can't tell you if it is too small or not.

All of the material was great, but so much extra came with it. The camera, 64GB chip, two batteries, small stand and screen protectors were great, the extra stand, holder, and SD card holders were extra material, but well worth the price.

This is a great camera and is at the upper end of a sophisticated point and shoot and many much more expensive SLR models. In addition to the bundle I purchased, I also chose to purchase a 2.2X telephoto and the required lens adapter, an assortment of filters, and a nice camera case. What is really nice is that someone with very little experience can basically use the auto setting and get high quality photos or if you have more experience, you can really change up through the manual modes and have a great deal of fun shooting "on your own". I think the only features I have not spent time playing with are the macro lens but I look forward to getting some real close-ups of bugs and things for my grandkids. I was really in need of a camera that can be easily carried on a trip through the inland passage to Alaska by ship, then by rail into Denali for about a two week trip this summer and seriously did not want to carry an extra 50 lbs of extra equipment. Since I purchased the Powershot G16 I am pretty certain the it was the right decision. My son and I did quite a bit of research before the purchase and so far I am very happy with the decision.

I had the G10 and loved it and the picture quality, but it got crunched under the car seat. Reviews directed me to the G16. Canon G16 does come with a neck strap but no usb data cable. The G10 cable doesn't fit nor does the battery. The G16 does have ports for the data cable, hdmi, earbuds, but door flap doesn't stay closed well. I prefer using the data cable rather than removing the data card to download - I don't know if pulling it in an out so often will scratch or damage the contacts. The 1080 movie quality is great. Don't know if it will take up a lot of data space. Haven't been able to really compare photos yet, but on first glace, seems it will be just fine.
I'm happy I got the Deluxe Bundle. My old computer doesn't have wi-fi, so Card Reader was a must, but a data cable could be added too. The 64gb cl 10 sdxc by sony is great - and 2 extra batteries will be handy. The camera case fits like a glove, which is great to protect while in my pocket, or in a purse. The spider tripod looks interesting to use. Still trying to figure out how to attach and use the wrist strap. The lens cleaner pen looks like it should spray, but doesn't push, and there's no spray hole! Screen protectors are nice - cut to fit for 6 times. Nice micro-fiber cloths and special cotton swabs for cleaning. Not sure what the little white cardboard was for. Wish there were instructions for the wrist strap and cleaning pen. All in all, the entire bundle was very good quality.
