I bought this battery as a backup to the one that came with the camera. Price was my first concern when I did the search, but the quality was a pleasant surprise. It seems to last as long as the Canon version and the quality of the shots don't seem to be diminished. I would recommend this item as your alternate battery and you can't beat the price. Also, the speed at which the retailer sent it out was very prompt. Thank you! I have used this battery in a number of cycles and am still pleased.

I've had this battery charged and in my camera for the past 3 weeks. I've been snapping pictures like crazy and it's still good to go. It seems to me that it holds a charge at least as long as the original battery, and the pictures are very clear. I am very happy with this battery (and the charger) from Battery Heads.

I have been using this item for the past few months, but it is living up to the manufacturer's advertisements. Of course, I cannot yet comment on durability, but it seems to be as well made as the Canon equivalent. We'll see. I also love the Canon SD1200 for shots for my art work.
