This review is from: Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 4350 256MB DDR2 PCI-Express HDMI Built-in Video Card (Personal Computers)
The card works ok. It does deliver digital output to my monitor (not all cards do this). The install was easy and the device worked ok. Having issues getting the crossfire mode to stick and there is no driver support for this device from the manufacturer. -- have to rely on AMD for this.
The card underperforms on 3D grphics tests even when operating in tandem with an ATI 3200 on the motherboard. This on a reasonably fast system (AMD Phenom 9600 Quad Core with 8 GB gaming RAM). I shudder to think how it would perform alone. One other inconvenience. The large heat sink is on the underside of the card so that when you install into a PCI-E slot it takes out the PCI slot below it. This is a serious problem if you have limited PCI slots. PROS: Inexpensive Meets basic performance objectives for 3D graphics Installs easily CONS: Does poorly on benchmarking No Driver support at maker's website No WIndows 7 Support Included software has no keys for the DVD suite So large it takes out one PCI bay below it |
