"After offering me the job at the salary I desired, the Project Manager of an Oakland, California-based software development company said, "This is very clever. I've never seen anyone do this". -- Lucy Liang

"My resume looks so good after applying the techniques. I didn't know I needed to mention all those things. It really makes a difference". -- Bill Camba, resume client

"My interviewer said that she had a long list of questions that she didn't bother asking because when I pulled out my portfolio and discussed my work samples, like you recommended, I answered all of them and more. I have known Lucy for many years and she has always given sage advice. It's terrific that now anyone who reads this book can have access to that advice as well.

Lucy's techniques are spot on- you cannot go wrong with this book. Even if you think you know all you need to know about looking for a job - read this book! You will want to apply what you read to your next search.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to read, packed with useful tips and information to get you that great new job, August 1, 2007
By Lea Barrett (Oakland, CA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I've always found that getting ready to look for a new job is a difficult task: Networking, writing the perfect resume, getting all the required information, etc. can be so daunting that by the time you're done you've no energy left to actually get started! Reading this book helps you break down the whole process into manageable chunks and gives you the tools you need to get going and noticed and interviewing in no time. A great book that made me want to go out there and get a new job even though I'm not looking for a new career at this time!
