I bought these because of another review. I own many NiMH batteries and they charge to about 1.34 volts. I also own a bunch of digital cameras that say NiMH batteries will work but they don't. I get maybe 1-3 pictures then nothing, even though the voltage didn't drop. I thought my cameras were broken! I bought the charger and 8 batteries, charged them up and got about 1.7 volts. Put them in the cameras and haven't had to recharge them yet,it's been 2 weeks,and we have a new baby(lot's of pictures)! Love the NiZn for this application. My radios work fine with my old NiMH batteries, so I've had no need to try these higher voltage ones in them.

This is a new cell that has recently come available for people. It has more voltage so it will be supported in more devices than a NiMH cell that is at 1.25 or 1.3 volts. I have not used it enough for it to be drained because I have it in my flashlights.

They are brighter than the NiMH in my flashlights and the charger is very good about being compact however the charger is limited as it is only for NiZn batteries making it a uni-tasker which I do not like. I have yet to get a more functional charger that would do the work of this one and my NIMH cells.

These batteries are what I have been waiting for, something that doesn't have too low voltage like Ni-MH, or too low capacity like Ni-CD. Sure it may not replace a bunch of lithium batteries for a smoke detector to last like 10 years, but there are pretty good, especially for the price. Unfortunately, like most nickel based batteries, the self-discharge rate isn't the best out there, but you could live with it. They offer great capacity, voltage, price, and everything else. I definitely recommend shopping here for them, but only if you live here in the U.S.

Awesome batteries, made my 3.5 second recycle on my Nikon Sb-900s come down to full power 1 second recycles.

These batteries are great for shoe-mount flashes. Because they are full power (actually a little over full power), I am getting recycle times l have not seen since I started using rechargeable batteries. Really helpful when you are trying to catch subtle expressions at a wedding or using shoe mount flashes for portraits.

I have only used them at a few weddings, but have gotten about 5-600 shots on a single charge and they were still going strong. A little pricey, but they are green technology and work remarkably well.

The Batteries work great in my daughter's digital camera Kodak DX6340. Charging takes alittle while, but worth the extra voltage/capacity that Nicads or Metal Hydried's don't. Looking forward to other size formats.

I love the idea of these batteries. The fact that they are a "green" rechargeables was what drew me to them in the first place. The advertised additional voltage didn't hurt either.

Unfortunately, they really don't work very well. They stayed in the package until recently, or I would have returned them. I followed the manufacturer directions as far as charging and such, but the battery life next to regular alkaline is unquestionably short. I have used them in a variety of applications including an RC helicopter, an led nightlight, an incandescent nightlight, and two digital cameras to no avail. For example, the TapLight (incandescent) lasted one full night on, with noticeable dimming; with alkaline batteries, I change them once a week.

I have to recommend against buying them until the system is improved. That said, even though I wasted $30ish bucks on this set that didn't work; if Powergenix fixes the problems, I would buy some replacements because I believe in the idea that much. Thus the two stars. I feel like they are on to something, but the technology just isn't ready for the big-time yet.

EDIT: After reading some of the reviews, I remember why I bought them in the first place. I think I am going to approach the manufacturer and see if they are willing to remedy the situation, I'll post results. 2/5/2011

Bought this charger & batteries to power my heated gloves that eat up batteries quickly. These batteries did't add much longevity to the batteries as I expected, but can recharge them which I have to do several times a week. Don't know of a better alternative, so will stick with.

So far I'm very pleased with the batteries, I use them in a Garmin 450T GPS and they seem to outlast the NiMh batteries.

these batteries are no joke i use them with my xbox 360,digital camera i got over 600 photos on a charge over a 3 week period. Other rechargable batteris usually go dead after that long of sitting. i popped in the pair i had in reserve which i charged at the same time and i was ready to go without a noticable power loss from sitting. after use i was sold on them i will definatly be ordering more.
