This little gadget is amazing. With my power mat, this can charge almost anything. I charge ebooks, ipods and have even charged friend's phones. My friend came over and her phone's battery was low so I looked and sure enough, there was a charger for her phone so I could charge her phone for her. It's amazing- I switch out the charging tips and I can charge multiple items. This was well thought out.

I bought a powermat with one powercube and 7 receivers at best buy. (This package is definitely the best deal). It works great if your phone or mp3 player is compatible with any of the tips. The powermat charges our iphone and LG phones, but not the Palm Treo or the HTC Hero. Go to powermat.com to check whether it will work for your phone before buying.
One design issue. A storage cube for the tips was included in the package, but it doesn't hold all of them. Maybe it is intended to hold a couple of the tips when you travel. It would have been nice if it held them all.

Amazon Verified Purchase
The Powermat works great. Sure, you could plug in a charging cable for every device you own, but this is very convenient. We now have the pad in our laundry room and simply plug in our phones or iPod, position it correctly on the Pad and that's it. I knocked it down a notch because it only comes with one Powercube i.e. unless you buy other cubes, you can only charge one device at a time. All told, it gets pretty expensive when you buy and additional two power cubes. It's a convenient but "nice-to-have" product rather than a necessity.

Not worth it

The powermat and cube has eliminated many of my extension cords. I did buy an extra cube because my wife uses two cubes one for her phone, and one for her bluetooth. Read more

Easy to dust
This works on NOTHING I own. On the plus side, it looks nice on the table when not plugged in and it's easy to dust.

Works OK For Charging Phones
I used this with my Powermat and it worked fine with a older iPhone. I recommend this product if you already have a Powermat.

Great option for Mini, Micro USB devices
Combined with the Powermat, it charges quickly and eliminates the need for another wall wart or octopus outlet.
