This item does NOT WORK with the Blackberry Tour 9630. The receiver model number for the Tour is PMR-BBT1.

"Ordered an advertised item (powermat receiver door for blackberry tour), was sent the wrong item then was told they didn't even carry the item I ordered, I had to send it back and then only received partial credit. To me it is false advertising to publish and sell something that you don't even carry, then make the customer responsible for sending it back without receiving full credit." Note that my order was confirmed for the batter door for the Blackberry Tour!

Whats not to like?

Something to be aware of however is that not all Blackberry Bolds are the same. This door fits the 9650, the one with a spring catch on the backdoor. It does NOT fit the 9700, which has the old style "slide it off" cover.

That may account for the people who bought this and thought it was wrong.

After reading the reviews I wasn't sure about this purchase. I have a Blackberry Tour & some of the reviews indicated that this door was the wrong size. Happy to report that it fits perfectly & with the PowerMat battery door in place the BB still fits in the case (snug fit, but it fits). The PowerMat 2x that I purchased with the door IS the greatest thing since sliced bread! Absolutely the best thing I've bought in a long while. I've eliminated SIX cords with this door & the Power Cube! Awwwwesome!

I ordered this product, of course, for the Blackberry tour/bold 9650... However, I received the one for Blackberry Bold 9000... I don't even know if i want to return this product for a replacement, because who knows if I will receive the correct model for my phone

I have a blackberry tour 9630 from sprint. The battery door fit perfect with no problem. I was even able to use my existing skin cover with no problem. It doesn't really add any bulk or weight. I love the face that I can just take my phone out of my pocket and lay it on the mat for charging. No more fishing for cables behind the desk and trying to find the correct connection for my phone. Just pick it up and go and you are ready to go. It would be great if they made something for the car.

I recently ordered this receiver/battery door through Amazon to charge Blackberries on my Powermat. It fits both the Verizon Tour 9630 and the Verizon Bold 9650, and works perfectly. Perhaps this item was mis-described earlier and that is the reason for the poor reviews from last year.
