Powermat Receiver Li-ion Battery Door for BlackBerry Bold

I purchased the battery door receiver in addition to the Powermat Portable Mat (Black) to make charging with the Powermat truly wirelessly and it delivered exactly what I wanted. The receiver battery door installed quickly: you just need to remove the standard battery door and replace it with the Powermat receiver battery door. Then just place the phone on the Powermat and it starts charging. Works great! There are a couple watchouts (see below) which drops my rating to 4 stars, but overall I'm very happy with my purchase since it makes charging with the Powermat really easy.

Pros:
--Easy to install
--Makes charging with the Powermat quick and easy, just place the phone on the mat and it starts charging!

Cons:
--Adds a noticable amount of weight to the phone
--The receiver increases the width and depth of phone making for a very snug fit into my case.
--A bit pricey considering I'll need a new one if I change phones

I got a Powermat for Christmas and I have been pretty happy with it so far. I also got a Powermat receiver for the Blackberry Bold. Unfortunately, these receivers do not fit the new Blackberry Bold 9700. They only work for the older Blackberry Bold models. Since my wife and I both have the same Blackberry, I guess we'll have to invest in an extra Powercube to make full use of the Powermat.

On a related note, none of the Powercube adapters work with my Zune.

Fits perfectly on the Blackberry Bold. This replacement door wraps around the bottom corners to induction pad to docking station pads on the BlackBerry and charges your existing battery with a powermat - sold seperately.
Does not add significant weight, but does add bulk which does make the Bold seem heavier. Weighing the device shows insignificant weight difference between original back and this one.
The added bulk makes most cases a snug fit, which is a little annoying, as is setting the Bold down on a desk as it rocks a bit and isn't as easy to type unless you hold it in your hand.
And in your hand the extra pad is not an issue, comfortable to hold.
