The best electric machine out there for the price!,

This review is from: Powermatic 2 Electric Cigarette Injector Machine
It's pretty rare that I write a review, but I had to in this case because of how satisfied I am with this product.
First just a little back history here. I've been doing the RYO thing since 1998. My first machine was a Premier Supermatic which is a big metal hand crank injector I used for about a year. Unlike a lot of other people that have nothing but great things to say about that machine, I was never truly happy with it. No matter how I would pack the ends of the feeder, I always had trouble getting the end near the filter filled completely. I never mastered that machine. One day a friend of mine was showing off his cheap little plastic Bugler hand injector. I tried it and I fell in love and ended up offering him $10 for it and never looked back at the Supermatic. I've been using the Bugler ever since then. It's been many years and it's given me a lot of cigarettes. It still works to this day and I'm surprised it lasted me as long as it has! Now I've discovered the Powermatic 2 and I can't stress enough how awesome it is! It really is a dream machine for me. As long as you pack the ends of the feeder good, your cigarette will be perfect end to end. It's pretty hard to make a bad cigarette with this. In fact I really had to put some effort into it to get a bad smoke out of it. I haven't jammed it yet, not to say it won't happen someday. I think you really have to be feeding a ton of tobacco into it to do that. Just get the ends packed well, but don't over pack the middle and you'll be very happy with the results. You just have to find the middle ground. A lot of the times it feels like I haven't packed enough in, but the cigarettes come out great. It's not hard and if you're new to RYO, you'll get the hang of it quick. This machine is worth every penny and I'm very pleased with it. It's the best injector I've used and I hope the company keeps making these for many years to come. It's quick and I never knew RYO cigarettes could be this easy to make and so perfect! There are some great video reviews on Youtube if you do a search. Right now I'm using OHM Mild Pipe Tobacco with Shargio Light Tubes. I like my tobacco to have a little moisture and have had no problems. So if you're thinking about whether or not to pull the trigger on the Powermatic 2 like I was for about a week or so, just do it already because you won't regret it!

This review is from: Powermatic 2 Electric Cigarette Injector Machine
To start off with I have hand several hand crank injector style machines such as the Gambler Tube Cut Injector & the Premier Supermatic just to name a couple. I loved both the machines I named above but wanted to try something different when they finally broke after a year of use from both of those machines. I can hardly get any machine to last over a year.
I now have a EXP1000 manual injector as a backup in the case this Powermatic 2 happens to break OR a power failure. Now on to why I like the Powermatic 2 Injector. I like the fact it is electric, some people with arthritis or other ailments that would hinder the comfortable use of a crank style machine would like this as well. Just pack the tobacco chamber, put your cigarette tube on, pull the lever to compress and inject the tube. Another reason I like this injector is it will use all the tobacco from the bag. Not like the crank style machines, when you get to the bottom of the bag, the loose tobacco can usually be harder to inject(the reason why my crank style machines broke). I have even packed tobacco into the chamber tight trying to get it to jam the machine. I have not yet had the Powermatic 2 jam on me YET. I also have not tried 100's sized tubes as I have read others claiming they have and they don't get packed to the filter. The king sized tubes I use I have not had issues with and if I have had issues, it was my fault, not the machines. Most people do not fill the corners first and the cigarettes might not be filled properly. This would not be the machines fault. With the manual crank machines I could "roll" a pack in about 2 minutes, with the Powermatic 2 I can roll a pack in about 2-3 minutes as well but even though it might be just a tad bit slower it is a lot easier to use. With the EXP1000 injector it takes me a lot longer but is a more reliable manual injector to have as a backup.

Powermatic 2 Electric Cigarette Injector Machine-Screw the hand crank machines,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Powermatic 2 Electric Cigarette Injector Machine
Powermatic 2 Electric Cigarette Injector Machine has proven to have created a satisfactory machine for a modest price compared to having ended up over time buying two of the hand crank machines.
First thing noticeable is the price is about roughly twice the price of the good quality hand cranked machines. I believe it is far too early to judge whether the motor is sufficient or low quality. To date,no issues since motor appears to do the job. For myself,no time is truly saved crank handle machine versus this electronic machine, but the efforts and potential hassles become removed when using this electronic machine instead. This model is made in China, very light but appears well built. Directions mention packing very loosely the tobacco and would agree with other reviewer, pack it like you have always done before until you get the hang of it. As for hand crank tobacco machines, the first pain in the arse is the handle knob will slap off the cheaply created rivet holding it onto the lever. i had to repair my hand machine with a nut and bolt and reamed out the knob to adjust to new diameter of hole in hand crank knob. After you have rigged your hand crank machine atleast once, you best buy this electronic machine since next time you may screw yourself until you get a replacement. Since this machine cost twice the price of hand crank machines, and you are starting out to make a decision, buy this machine instead of the hand crank machine from the start. That piece of advice would have saved me some money by now. Maybe in a year this machine will be junk or may last for several years. In time sales of this product will determine its quality. I paid about 90 bucks roughly for this machine. Make sure to view each and all suppliers selling this machine and select lowest with shipping fee. Good luck since buying smokes at the store is like buying gold nowadays.
