The Powerpuff Girls blends strong female figures with striking graphic design to create an action-packed cartoon for 5- to 9-year-olds (although parents should monitor the violent content here). Bubbles, Blossom, and Buttercup are three kindergartners with superhero powers that help the mayor keep Townsville safe. There are five separate episodes in this hour-long tape. In "Monkey See, Doggie Do," the villainous Mr. Mojo Jojo is systematically turning townspeople into dogs. It's up to the Powerpuff Girls to break the spell--but can they succeed even after Mojo turns them into Powerpups? "Mommy Fearest" paints a frightening picture of Professor Utonium's new date--good thing the Powerpuffs see through her facade! In "Telephonies," crank calls from the Gangrene Gang have the Powerpuff Girls roughing up Mojo, Fuzzy, and Dim when they haven't done anything wrong. You'll never guess who saves the day! If you've ever wondered what the colorful Townsville would be like in black and white, check out "Mime for a Change." When Rainbow the clown gets bleached and becomes the evil Mr. Mime, it's up to the Powerpuff Girls to put the color and sound back into Townsville. The Emmy-nominated "Bare Facts" details the Powerpuff Girls' rescue of the kidnapped mayor. The use of a blank screen with audio to represent the blindfolded mayor's experience and three distinct animation styles to underscore each Powerpuff's version of the rescue is wonderfully effective and shows viewers just how differently Bubbles, Buttercup, and Blossom think. --Tami Horiuchi

Who will ever be able to resist the latest animated creation ever to be featured on the Cartoon Network! NOT ME! Any cartoon buff will instantly fall into love with the precicous wide-eyed toddlers under such adorable ribbon bows, perky pigtails, and neatly-trimmed bangs! Our girls are so blessed with magical powers to protect the pretty little make-believe city of Townsville from a whole rogue gallery of dastardly villains and fantastical monsters. And it takes a very talented animator or two to take geometrical shapes and make lively cartoon characters out of them as well as that cute little fairyland they call home to boot! Oh, and throw in a very generous pinch of clever satire and simply stunning visual gags (especially the part about Rainbow The Klown) as well as a huge scoop of cheeky humor and glittery-starry fantasy thrown in! Don't forget the startlingly stark animation graphics to enhance the flavor! And it turned out to be so good you just gotta serve it to just EVERYONE REGARDLESS OF ANY AGE, not just impressionable little girls. SO YOU RULE, POWERPUFF GIRLS!

Powerpuff girls are not just for kids. The powerpuffs are morefor teenage guys, it is the funniest show on the face of the earth butit is marketed for little girls, and it is hillarious. The show is awesome, hands down.

The Powerpuff Girls' VHS "Monkey See, Doggie Do" is spectacular!! This video contains some of the classsic Powerpuff episodes.

Monkey See, Doggie Do
This is my personal favorite! Mojo steals the head of Anubis (the Egyptian god that has a dog's head) and the Anubial jewels. When he puts them together he can change humans into dogs and control them to fulfill his evil plans! The Girls have to save the day again!

Mommie Fearest
In this episode Professor Utonium falls for a beautiful woman he meets in the supermarket. She is nice and perfect to the girls as well until the Professor leaves and she becomes a horror! The girls discover what is really going on and have to deal with the maddness!

Telephonies
This episode has the Gangreen Gang playing pranks on townsville. Can the Powerpuff Girls stop the Gang before they go too far and drive everyone crazy?!?

Rainbow The Clown
Rainbow the colorful clown turns bad and is transforned into Mister Mime. Now he is going around Townsville changing everything into black and white and silent, including Blossom and Buttercup! Can Bubbles change this new dark world into a bringt colorful and happy place again?

The Bare Facts
Most of the action takes place in the dark while the Mayor is blindfolded and the Girls try to explain to him that he was kidnapped and they saved him. The mayor can't figure out what's so funny! This is a funny and surprising episode!

This is, in my opinio, the best of the Powerpuff Girls' Collection of videos! It is really great and hilarious!!!
A must have for any Powerpuff fan and anyone wanting to see the Girls at their best!
You won't regret it!
