Well, to put it into summary, it kicks ass! Powerslave is neck and neck with Number of the Beast for being the best Iron Maiden album. I just hate when a band comes out with such a good album, because no other band out there can come close to topping it and they usually won't release one like it again. But anyways, Aces High is truly one of the best songs, probably the best song on the album, the first two times I heard I really didn't like it, but after that I fell in love with the song. Great album!

WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT POWERSLAVE. IT WAS MY FIRST MAIDEN ALBUM BACK IN 85, AND I CONSIDER THIS ALBUM THE BEST METAL ALBUM OF ALL TIME.IF YOU ARE AN OLD SCHOOL METAL FAN LIKE MYSELF, I AM SURE YOU HAVE THIS ALBUM, BUT IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD IT THEN DO NOT HESITATE BECAUSE THIS THE ULTIMATE MASTERPIECE OF ALL TIME. CHECK OUT 2 MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT, BACK IN THE VILLAGE POWERSLAVE, ACES HIGH AND THE 13 MINUTE EPIC OF RIME OF THE ANCIENT MARINER TO MENTION A FEW. BUY IT, THIS IS THE BEST OF THE BEST.

This, Maiden's third release with singer Bruce Dickenson, is by arguably their best. By blending relevant, cogent lyrics with their most inventive guitar assaults to date, the mates from Old E have done something special here: created an album devoid of filler, crammed with instant classics. Most notable are the heavy "Aces High" and the little appreciated gem "Back in the Village." Martin Birch's let-'em-rock-till-ears-bleed production has never sounded so good.

Iron Maiden achieves their best mix of impressive and mature instrumentation along with superb songwriting on this album. Aces High and 2 Minutes to Midnight are as good as any metal songs ever! Don't overlook Rime of the Ancient Mariner and the title track, as they are also excellent. The guitar work is noticeably more developed and honed than on earlier albums, and the songs are energetic and well-written. If you only buy one Iron Maiden album, make it Powerslave.

This is the best album ever released by a metal band. It includes such classics as Aces High, 2 Minutes To Midnight, Powerslave, and the epic Rime Of The Ancient Mariner. This cd best exemplifies the Maiden sound, with the soaring vocals of Bruce Dickinson (best metal vocalist ever!), the great melodic guitar solos from Adrian Smith and Dave Murray, and the great bass playing of Steve Harris. If you consider yourself a metal fan you have to have this cd.

"Powerslave" by Iron Maiden is one of the best cds of all time. Each song is absoulutely top-notch. My favorites are without a doubt "RIME OF AN ANCIENT MARINER" "Powerslave" "Aces High" "Back to the Village" "2 minutes till midnight" "Losfer Words" "The Duelists", and "Flash of the Blade". Wait, that is the whole cd! That is just my point. Go buy this now!

It's not necessary to spend a lot of words describing this CD because all metal fans should have it in their CD collection. I mean, I can't find a boring or less-balanced track in this album, and for me It's been very hard to decide which is the best Iron Maiden CD: Powerslave or Piece of Mind, in the end I couldn't find an answer.

A masterwork of Heavy Metal genre, appealing to all kinds or ages of listeners, this time, a must-buy for all!

Arguably Maidens best album. Instrumentally it is hard to compare espicially with songs "Aces High" or the instrumental song "Losfer Words" which can be listened to repeatedly without loosing appeal. Lyrically there are strong messages in "two minutes to midnight," "powerslave" and of course the 10 minute + "Rime of the Ancient mariner". The story of a shipman and his curse. Get this album
