Powerslide is a good game, though it does take a bit of time to really get the hang of controlling it. The tracks are a lot of fun, but unfortunately, there aren't very many of them(if I remember right there's 8 circuits, one stunt area, and one luge run). Also, there aren't very many cars. Each car has different characters who drive them, which just means paintjob choices, and minor alterations to the height and frontend in some cases. Each character has a little bio that you can read, which is fun but, sadly, pointless.

Powerslide is good, but it could've been an amazing game if only it had a more reasonable number of tracks and cars.
It's good for killing a reasonable amount of time.

I have had this game for 2 years and still play it everyday,It is still the best futuristic racer ever made,if you do not own it you are missing out on a great expierence,graphics are outstanding,gameplay has more modes than any other racer,multiplayer is almost perfect,I am still having fun online and off ith Powerslide!!!

The first time you play this game you may think negative about it but , when you get used to it , you will want to play it 24 hours everyday . This game takes PRACTICE . It is HOT , with 3-D graphics and cars you've never seen before , they are very fast and look like they are worth millions of dollars . The tracks are also HOT . You can take shortcuts and use cheats that will blow you away . Some of the tracks are on road and some are off road . You will love this game . Just practice and don't give up . Each time you practice , it will get eaiser , then you can master it without using any cheats .

This is a great game, although its now almost 3 years old, the graphics are great and action is fun. It seems that it was forgotten due to not enough advertisment. You'll enjoy plenty of futureistic racing in a post nueclear earth, all tracks are very inovative, and you can drive around outside the main road, take shorcuts and so on, your not so limited, one problem is that it is hard and can be frustrating, you'll be temted to use the cheats. brought the game because of the reviews here. but when i tried to play it, it wouldn't start. checked the web for solutions, they had created 2 patches for the game but the patches are not available when i tried to download them. dissapointed. it sounded like a fun game.
