Designed to increase your lateral power, strength, agility, and endurance, the Powerslide provides a terrific workout in just minutes a day. The Powerslide is equipped with a specially formulated sliding surface that spreads across the floor, along with heavy-duty end stops on each side to keep the slide board stable. To use, simply slip on the medium-sized nylon booties--which are engineered to provide the perfect coefficient of friction (COF)--and start gliding. Your movements will approximate the gliding movements of inline skaters and ice skaters, but with a full lateral motion rather than a forward-propelling motion. The routine will work your glutes, quads, hamstrings, calves, and core, making your lower body more explosive and agile when performing athletic activities. Whether you're honing your defensive form on the basketball court or your endurance on the mountain, the Powerslide will do the trick.

The Powerslide offers a specially formulated sliding surface designed to provide a smooth, positive glide.

The Powerslide also includes rubber ramps on each side attached to the end stops with heavy-duty clamping knobs. The ramps lift your feet just enough to provide the correct positioning for the takeoff and finish of each stride. In addition, the end stops include shock-absorbent bumpers to cushion the impact from hard strides. Best of all, the entire system rolls up and fits inside a convenient carrying pouch, so you can easily bring the Powerslide system on the road. The carrying case--which holds the slide board, ramps, and booties--includes a heavy-duty strap and a lace closure at the opening. The Powerslide system carries a 90-day warranty.

Note: The medium booties fit men's shoe sizes 5-1/2 to 8 and women's shoe sizes 7 to 9-1/2.

I love this slider, awesome workout and its fun! I love that it's light weight so it's portable and it comes with a bag to carry it in. Learning curve is 15min or less. If your already into speed skating, roller blading or ice skating I would recommended the 10ft version, but no matter what length you get the workout is intense!! One great thing about it is that it strengthens your legs without making you sore to the point of discomfort. I love it! Spray some pledge on it and do it with sneakers as it gives you more speed.

I just received my Powerslide and had a chance to test it out. It was easy to assemble and took no time at all. I must say it was great fun, and a good low impact cardio workout. The 8 ft slide was plenty long, and I am glad I did not get the 10 ft. one. I do suggest to use Pledge to make the surface more slippery for better movement.
This slide is not for beginners. I have been a skater since childhood so I picked up on it pretty quick. I could imagine this being dangerous for those with less experience or coordination. Also, for those with lower back stiffness, don't lean too far forward because it can put some pressure on your lower back.
Overall, I feel this equipment was worth the price and a more thrilling option for a cardio workout. I have to admit, at one point I felt like a kid again.
Great job to Athletic Innovations, Inc., who shipped my order the same day I placed it, and had it at my door the next day!

I returned this product after 3 weeks and, like the previous buyer, I was charged about $50.00 too. The quality is not worth it. The slide does not stay on the ground properly. It is rolled when you receive it and for some reason I could never unroll it so that it remained flat. There was a permanent curl at the end and it would end up rolling at each end automatically! This was dangerous because I nearly fell several times trying to slide and the curved ends were not secure. The company should put the rubber backing on the entire product not just the end. Anyway, save your time and money and research other products because you will be charged for shipping and restocking too...if returned.
