Does help plantar fasciitis, but takes time,
By SusanAtHome "Susan" (Woodbridge, VA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Powerstep Pinnacle Insole
I developed plantar fasciitis, very bad chronic case. My foot type is high arched. I've tried shots, boots, ice, everything. These insoles (Pinnacle kind) support a high arch very well (there is one with not quite as high an arch also). Worn ALL THE TIME, no cheating with bare feet or other types of shoes, these arch supports did help, slowly but surely. I love them. They last quite a while also. With hard wear, I would think you would need to replaced 2-3 times a year. Cost adds up, but I did not want to take a chance on $500 custom insoles, when I've heard they often aren't any better. Good Luck.

My husband rates these insoles a 5 for comfort. He hasn't noticed any improvment as far as leg or foot pain and has wore them consistantly since Christmas. The owner of the Red Wing store where we get his work boots highly recommended them and he was right. They make heavy, steel toed work boots more bearable. Can't say they will cure or even help with orthopedic problems though. Guess you need to see a doctor for that and not expect a $50 miracle? If they last a year (I'm sure they will) they are worth the money to my husband just for the comfort.

This insole does a good job in supporting the foot, but the pro model also offers gel cushion for the heal which is what I needed. Still, if you don't need that, this is a good insole.

Very good orthotics,

I have a very bad case of Plantar Fasciitis and these inserts do help. They sell the same ones at my doctor's office, but it actually less expensive here. The order got here very quickly, and I will order another pair. They are great.

Good price, good product. Howver, it is generic and if you really need orthotics, best to have them individually fitted. These are a good value.

These stop my foot pain,

Be careful when selecting orthodic inserts. You can permanently damage your foot, knees or back! With that said, these fit my feet well. They are a VERY high, side-biased support. They support the inside of your arch much more than the outside. They raise your arch and cup your heel. They have plastic running down the bottom so they are quite rigid and durable. They are worth the $30!

These insoles are great. I've worn them before, but was looking for a cheaper price than the ones purchased at a speciality shoe store. They give much more support than those bought over the counter at drug stores and the like. Of course, they are more expensive than the drug store variety, but the overall comfort, support and durability are worth it.

Great arch support for my plantar ligament. My feet started feeling better immediately. Nice to find a product that helped.
