I purchased my current Powerwinch about ten years ago, had it overhauled three years ago. I over build things where my boat is concerned. It's about a 2500 lb boat and I use a 4000lb rated winch, model 315. Regardless, I trailer my boat all season, from April to December. This winch gets USED!
I'm ordering my second one! Nuff said!
