Very light and easy to move around compared to a HEAVY steel jack.

I was shopping around for a Floor Jack which would provide the weight reduction features of an aluminum jack without the steep price as well as provided a larger lift distance so that I could use on a lifted F150 and a minivan. I noticed this was rated for 3 tons and had aluminum and steel components with a 4" to 18 1/4" range. It was a good compromise in weight and strength and lift capacity. Not as heavy as an all steel 3 ton jack, but not as expensive as an all aluminum model. Reading about aluminum jacks, I found some owners complaining about the aluminum arm breaking with no flex. So I felt that a critical component being steel may bring some piece of mind about this happening. It has a rubber pad so that it does not damage the under-carriage or slip. It has a double plunger to lift quickly, moves with minimal resistance on a concrete floor, and the handles on the sides allow for ease of carry. When I first received it, I noticed that it was missing some fluid and simply filled. Also, the arm movement may get a little harder as you lift a heavier load and the handle is long which could make it difficult to lift when having to really go under a lifted vehicle as the handle motion is limited.Make sure you follow the instructions and purge the air before use. This is my first floor jack purchase beyond a bottle jack. I looked for several weeks before making my decision. For this price and for the features of this floor jack; I have not found a better value yet. Thanks.

I was worried that this jack was just another one of those
rinky dink jacks from china being that there was no actual
dimensions listed in the specifications on the Amazon site
or any other site for that matter. But to my delight this
"mutha" is a full blown 60 pound shop grade floor jack.
Some parts are made of aluminum thank goodness because it
would probably weigh in at 75+ pounds so this is no portable,
it stays on the floor. Its dual pumping mechinism makes for
a short and smooth stroke with its long handle having plenty
of leverage. It is a little high towards the handle which may
be a problem with the ground hugging imports but if jacked
from the side would easily lift the whole car.
Very pleased with it, well made, well worth the money.
Hank

THis jack is well made with nicer features than most competitive jacks. Raises heavy loads quickly & easily. The twist release handle saves fumbling around trying to position a handle on a separate release valve. THe ability to leave the handle in a vertical position saves working & storage space in cramped quarters. Lifts throughout the entire stroke range, allowing small height adjustments.

Edit: I had the jack for about 3 weeks, used it to lift my friends Honda CRV, not a heavy car by any means. I was left with my jack bleeding oil all across the pavement. The jack still worked as I describe below, held the car up for lengthy amounts of time along with jack stands, and didn't fail otherwise. Amazon sent UPS the next day to pick up the jack and the new one is on its way. I'm sure it was just a manufacturer defect. I will post more later, but the 5 star rating is staying unless this happens again. 5/9/13

Edit 2: The new jack arrived promptly and has been working great for over a year now. No leaks, no issues. I think the first jack was just defective. Amazon is always quick to fix any errors, and my new jack is always happy to raise up cars. Keeping the 5 star rating. Overall, a well worth it purchase. 9/3/14

This jack is pretty amazing. I'm just a home mechanic that does his own auto work instead of feeding money to the local shops that tend to overcharge and provide sub par work. By this, I mean some shops that do oil changes have been lazy and forgotten to tighten the drain plug, so I got home and nearly blew my engine since it was out of oil. Last time I do that for the special $20 rate.

I had previously bought a Harbor Freight jack, a 2.5 ton low profile, high lift jack for around $75 with coupon, along with a set of 3 ton jack stands for $16. I used this for about a month, working on my civic and family's odyssey with little problems. It was a good jack and didn't disappoint me. It was an all steel, nearly 80 pound beast that had pretty incredible reach for a jack, along with low ground clearance at 2.75'' and lift range of 21''. The only concern I had was reliability, as seeing reviews were mixed.

Ok ! The jack arrived in a trashed shipping box, The inner foam container holding jack and it's parts is all busted up, looks like snow balls.
The jack lower handle has a padded foam cover,it is cut up from the jack itself. Top plate on jack is missing two holding screws.
Enclosed in box is a operators booklet with parts list and customer service contact. I tried calling the customer service number several times, No one answers and you can not leave a message.

I sent a email asking for help on missing parts, After six days I received a reply to send my mailing address and missing parts will be sent. A week later no parts! I sent another email asking if parts were sent? Reply was parts are back-orderd. A week later I sent another email asking if I should return jack to Amazon since no parts are available? Reply received stated' We will remove missing parts from a display jack and ship to you.

About seven days later missing parts arrived, Wrong parts! not for this jack.
Now almost a month has past, I give up !!

The company never answers customer service calls, you can not leave a message And they do not know what parts are correct for their jacks.
The enclosed operation booklet states one year warranty, Who can you contact if you have warranty issues??
It might or might not be a good jack ? But do not expect any customer service from Powerzone.
After your return time is up with Amazon, You are on your own.
