Not particularly practical,

Despite the title, "Practical Acoustics" is one of the least practical, least acoustics-oriented textbooks I've ever owned. The 2nd half of the book is basic, obsolete-component-oriented audio electronics, with no acoustics application whatsoever. The first half is, at least, about acoustics, but the information is not particularly useful, enlightening, or practically applicable. I have a large collection of acoustics books, but this one isn't going to stay on my shelf for long.
